    Cons -

    • The room that we stayed in did not match the star level assigned to this hotel. It seemed more like a college dorm room with two twin beds at 90° angle to each other. The bedsheets were nice, however.
    • The parking situation
    • Transportation from the AKJ airport with a large skibag was difficult to arrange. Unclear details for how to arrange and what luggage the public airport busses to Asahikawa would carry, or if large taxis would be available for evening flight arrivals.

Breakfast was excellent! Sparkling wine to start the evening was a great idea! Staff were consistently kind and professional. Onzen was clean and wonderful. Waxing stations was outstanding! Ski holiday atmosphere was fun. Ski and gift shops were well designed. What a nice experience!

    - Great indoor onsen. Spacious.- Free bus to the zoo- Spacious lobby- Winter sport friendly hotel

    - Room size can be more spacious for family- Distance not walkable from station. Taxi cost is around JPY 1100- Children 9 yo already considered adult for breakfasr

The room and bed, the breakfast

Public bath is too small and crowded. Only the jacuzzi has hot bath, the other bigger pool’s water is at room temperature which was too cold during winter.

Like the size of the room. It's quite creative to slide the luggage under the bed saving loads of walking space.

There's no bottled water provided in the room.Car park was full during our days there and had to park nearby across the road.

The breakfast was excellent, there was a laundry room which was helpful for us as we were traveling for a long time. The room was clean and comfortable.

I would have liked if they would be able to notify us of the parking availability beforehand

Great room layout, very thoughtful design. Breakfast was excellent!

The lifts are always crowded so we had to wait quite a bit

Atmosphere and theme related hotel is great and family friendly

    Location could be better

    8AngiePosted on: 4-4-2025

the room setting is practical. alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks served free to charge at the lobby. Free of charge hot waxing tools available (4 stations). The temperature of the water in the spa is not high enough for me. room cleansing service per 4 day interval is ok as towels are replaced daily. the breakfast is very good.

Really great hotel, amazing night view. Is close to the main street of Asahikawa but nevertheless in an area that is quieter.

    9TamaraPosted on: 3-24-2025

Great hotel - awesome breakfast and onsen Close to restaurants, free bus to ski hills

I find the beds a little hard - but seems to be the same all over Japan - personal preference!

    9ATIRATPosted on: 3-15-2025

located not far from station and restaurants.friendly staff, spacious comfortable room, cozy atmospherefacilities for skiers such as bus to ski resorts and dry locker room

Great view of Daisetsuzan National Park mountains. The waffle and salmon combo at breakfast is delicious.

    8RemkoPosted on: 3-2-2025

Good location lots of restaurants around. Good base to reach the more northern smaller resorts and ski touring areas.

I was a bit disappointed that White Time the ski shop kind of closed.

    9DenisePosted on: 2-25-2025

The breakfast was beautifully decorated, staff very helpful all dishes were fresh. Lots of choices.

I would have liked a chef that prepares eggs and fresh orange juice, or an option to order these items.

Everything except toilet had a peculiar smell.

Smell from toilet, basically I only went into bathroom if I had to and didn’t leave belongings in there. I only stayed 2 nights so it wasn’t a problem.

    9SarahPosted on: 2-7-2025

Loved it here. Such a great location in Asahikawa. And shuttles to all the ski fields. We loved our room layout and the great use of space. It was nice to enjoy the happy hour after skiing and a few snacks. Staff were really lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be back!
