Hotel Excelsior

The parking. There was no parking close to the hotel, however they had parking below the hotel.

The bed was hard and very uncomfortable.

Everything was so good. This was my first time to visit Italy. My budget was £20/25 per night stay for 2/3 star hotels so that I could stay longer time/at least 3 weeks and enjoy the beautiful weather and sunny day. I did not know that a single/double room is very expensive near Monfalcone centre. However, Hotel Excelsior’s rooms are very reasonable or cheap compare to the other rooms of the hotels near Monfalcone centre. So, overall I was happy with everything at this hotel

Hot tub

breakfast was not up to standard; it was a buffet with no quality curtains.in dining area could do with a wash there white but full of dust. The room was dull and needs refurbishing

Clean room with large bathroom, even has a small kitchenette. Breakfast selection is adequate. A big advantage is the parking, which is included in the price.

I stayed here twice. The hotel is dated but rooms are clean. Breakfast was ok.

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport and due to the early departure of my flight wanted a short Trip. I arrived to the hotel and asked the reception to reserve a taxi for the next day. I was a little shocked when the receptionist said he will print the numbers and I should contact the taxi companies myself. In the end he did call for me since I spoke no Italian. The taxi did pick me up but trip was very dear. The receptionist on the second stay didn’t seem to be so experienced as on my first stay.

Smooth check-in, clean room, excellent wi-fi throughout the hotel.

Although the hotel has its own parking spaces, it can happen that they are all occupied when you arrive.

Good value for price. Place was clean, and a good size, convenient to bus, train and airport. Nice breakfast with good variety coffee, juice, cold cuts and cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt and other items. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The wifi didn't work in my room or anywhere else in the building. They shouldn't advertise that they have wifi if it doesn't work

Very kind staff

I had some problems with the lock system of the door. After you enter your code you have to be careful not to open too fast and not to open too late, otherwise it does not work and it gives you an error message. The best should be a couple of seconds after it says "unlocked".

The room was big, with a small balcony and bathtub.

Had to pay extra for dogs, which is fair. But the clerk gave us a small room instead of our pre-paid luxury room (bigger price). When I confronted him of the error, he said dogs cannot go into the luxury apartment, but he will let us, so he gave us a key. This behaviour is not professional. Either give us back the price difference and inform us of the room change or just give us the key to our paid room. The room was fairly clean, but it was renovated a long time ago!The location is excellent however, since it is in the town center!

Great location just a few min from the station on foot, whilst close to several shops and bars. Comfy beds, great working wifi, overall super clean. Nice coffee in the morning

Need new pillows and the room didn’t have a glass or a cup in it. Only a plastic cup. Would of been nice to have had facilities to make a cup of tea.

The hotel is well situated. We had a lovely big room and a bathroom. The breakfast was great - so much choice! The staff were really friendly and helpful. The coffee from the bar was amazing!

Very well located, Staff at reception are very nice, helpful and have excellent English.Quite some choices at breakfast.The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom has a bath/shower that looked a bit outdated and could only be used as a shower, but that was totally fine.Quiet at night and safe location,

Wifi was a little bit strange as there was a need to open a browser window to ensure login each time we reconnect to it. Once connected it was fine.

the hotel is older, but clean and cozy. parking is in underground garages. the rooms are clean, the beds a little soft. I've been here before, but I'll be back again
