Art-Hotel Erlangen

Er was geen water or, bathroom aminities

Location, clean rooms.

Great location next to my nephews and public transportation. Very clean, quiet and great staff. I highly recommend Art Hotel.

The breakfast is satisfactory, the selection is good.

The power socket few and in the wrong place. You can hear the neighbor a lots.

We liked the quiteness, the ambient, and the fact that they allowed dogs as well.

The dust was not cleaned properly, but everything else was great!

The quiet location and the on-site parking. The comfort of the bed.The great selection of food at breakfast and the restaurant beside of the hotel Being dog friendly.

Underground parking. The restaurant is in the same building.

Quite noisy - at least in the room we have stayed in.

Clean rooms. Walking distance from center.

A bit noisy in rooms facing the street.

The staff was very friendly. They did respect us and were very helpful. Good job!

I did not like the breakfast. But this is probably just me.

Not far off main Autobahn route south and comfortable enough for a stopover. The attached restaurant much pleasanter than first thought.

Room was a bit small.

The room was nice and quiet.

Everything went wrong regarding this accommodation: first I was not able to enter the hotel with my pin number (received via Booking.com after the reservation), which was quite annoying after 10 hours of driving. After some phone calls (there was another couple there that also was unable to enter), a receptionist arrived after 10-15 minutes. She told me that breakfast would be served as of 7.00am the next day, but when I arrived around 7,30, I barely was able to draw attention of somebody inside the main building as my room key wouldn't open that door! I requested a refund since I was unable to wait until 8,00am, but a friendly receptionist (a different one) was quite perplexed to see that I was charged for breakfast twice - EUR 15 instead of EUR 7,5!!! It is true that I was staying alone in a double room, but first receptionist was fully aware of this fact as she we discussed it upon check-in (as I don't like usually tiny single rooms), but that shouldn't have given her the right to charge me a double amount! I do hope that I will receive the reimbursement that Mr Malek promised to send me!

Clean, good location, car park

Great rooms for a descent price at walking distance from Erlangen center

Nothing, all good

Appreciated the fresh fruit and yoghurt at breakast. We had stayed prevously and my son left a small item behind. It was waiting for us on return, very thoughtful!

Quality of the coffee could be better. The stairs are not a problem for me, however it would nota be inconvenient for a guest with a walking disability.

Underground parking is excellent and convenient. Good shower.Comfortable beds.

An open beer was in the minibar. Dust under the bed. One lamp had wiring problem, for safety i unplugged it.

Disappointing

There was no hot water in the room to take shower (neither in the evening nor in the morning). Very poor breakfast, it was not possible to get hot boiled water for baby milk food.

Clean, quiet and modern. Very friendly and caring staff.

good location. good value for money

I had an unpleasant situation with the reception. I am not a fluent German speaker so I wanted to discuss (in English) with the reception about my late check in and when they heard me speaking English they simply put the phone down without answering. I found that very unprofessional.

Art hotel is located close to the city center (1km) and bicycles are available at the hotel. The hotel is in connection (different owner) with a Franconian restaurant which serves traditional food of that area. The best feature of this hotel is its staff; very friendly and always ready to help; special thanks to Daisy. Breakfast is decent with fresh bread every morning, no warm dishes though.

The bicycles are a bit outdated but working.

Late night check-in was simple with keycards provided in a safe by the main entrance.

The WLAN access is heavily filtered. I could not access many sites including some social media and that of my VPN provider.

Staff were excellent

Breakfast was quote limited in choice
