Hotel san Vitale

Oh my goodness! How we have been looking forward to writing this review! For starters, we adore our home, AND we could oh so easily have moved into Hotel San Vitale. The staff, the location, the breakfast, the town, and the MUSIC in the hotel, all by far exceeded our expectations. Again, service at the hotel was impeccable and communication effortless. The staff was both professional and personable at the same time- Thank you Jennifer, Laura and Doug for all your many kindnesses...can't wait to return! -Holly and Dave

The hotel rooms are large and beautiful and the location, right in the old town, is perfect. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very nice and breakfast was amazing! We will definitely come back to Bormio and look forward to staying at Hotel San Vitale again.

Hotel and rooms were modern, spacious, clean and luxurious. Breakfast was superb.

This was easily one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. Located in the beautiful mountains of Bormio, the hotel had a cozy, stylish alpine feel with the warmth and charm of a boutique property. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.Breakfast was a standout — fresh pastries, amazing coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and a great à la carte menu. The shower was amazing, with a large tropical rainfall head and strong water pressure — such a treat after a day in the mountains.The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the nearby covered parking was also very convenient.

Everything was perfect!

The breakfast was among the best we had in Italy - don't miss the scrambled eggs! It's a lovely hotel, in a great location, with friendly staff, and overall excellent value for money.

Only (slight) downside was complicated/weird WiFi, but it worked fine once we got it worked out.

Beautiful, modern hotel. Staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms spacious and exceptionally clean. Lovely breakfast. Rooftop sauna and wellness area an added bonus. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful rustic and stylish room on top floor with view of the little church tower next door and the mountains. Room and ensuite spacious, comfortable and very clean, bed up on mezzanine level. Complimentary bottle of wine and goodies on arrival. Breakfast, which is included, was plentiful, delicious and full of choice and colour with hot items as well as continental options available too. Staff all delightful, welcoming and really helpful. The hotel has a bar across the way which is perfect for an après-ski drink with nibbles or a pre-dinner aperitif and again, the staff are very lovely!

The beds were very comfy, the breakfast was really good. Also the private booking of sauna and wellness space was a huge surprise and bonus!

Breakfast was stunning! Very large variety with fresh bakery goods every morning and fresh fruit and juice, with great coffee on offer! Eggs etc made to order, so everything is on offer and of great quality as well! Staff were very helpful, going above and beyond! Rooms were exceptionally clean! Perfect location in the stunning town of Bormio and great location for skiing!

Comfy modern rooms, one of best breakfasts ever! Great staff who even got us coffee when we had to leave at 6 am before opening. They also brought us ac unit when our heat was too high and wouldn’t lower

We were on first floor right above where trucks delivered at 5 am every morning with much noise. Our room wouldn’t go below 22 degrees and opening window made more noise

Bike storage room, but no problem as the bike could be in our room.Our check-in girl was comfortable in English and was too shy. Didn't matter that much as we figured everything out

Very central location, nice modern room with bed on the upper level. Very basic breakfast. Good location if you want to drive the Stelvio Pass.

The promissed safe parking place became "You can park anywhere on the street because is safe", but the issue is that the hotel is in the pederstrian area and you can only unload your luggages and move the car outside of the center. But it was raining and the closesc parking place was few hundred meters away. Of course the hotel don't provide umbrellas...The A/C in the bedroom is leaking and the only window is a skylight, so you can't see anything from the room.

The location is wonderful, exactly in the heart of the old city center. The rooms are great, very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is really good, only quality ingredients.The receptionist was very helpful with the parking for our car, very close and easy to. If you want to climb up the Stelvio Pass this is for sure one of the best hotels to stay in, being very close to the start of the climb.

The best part of our stay was the hospitality. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and help us with everything we needed. By far, the best. Also, the rooms were lovely, clean, spacious. Couldn’t ask for more and we have travelled extensively.
