Ostello Alpino

The hostel was great. When I think of hostel i usually think "crowded & sloppy" but this place was very comfy, nice and clean with a good breakfast, very warm hosts and chill ways to spend the afternoon.

Spotless and clean, wonderful ambience, terrific Biergarten and great in-house restaurant, secure storage room for bicycles with a little workshop area for small repairs, and a top notch breakfast. Exceeded my expectations in every way!

This was easily the BEST hostel i was in, EVER. PARKING, Breakfast, Design of the hostel, profesional hosts. If I'm ever going to Stelvio agaibn, this hostel is a MUST. They even left a printed letter with keycard for late check in. (Damn you rain on Stelvio :D )

The location was good with it's proximity to the town centre of Bormio and easy to find.The staff are charming and helpful. Amazing breakfast.

Great location big rooms and awesome staff.

I am very grateful accommodation like this exist, as a family of four it makes travelling possible and affordable. We stayed with our children for 7 nights. The room was clean, warm, had enough space for family of 4 and view of Stelvio. Hostel also has conveniently located heated room to store skis and boots. The breakfast room with fireplace is very spacious and breakfast was tasty with wide selection for everyone’s taste. I enjoyed the cohesive interior design of the entire hostel; the involved graphics designer did amazing job. The staff was extremely friendly and made us packed breakfast on the day we were leaving at 6 am. Hostel was well situated, ski bus stop only 300m away. I would definitely come again.

I did not enjoy the NO FOOD IN YOUR ROOMS sign at the reception, there are no cooking facilities in the room so frankly I don't understand why I could not eat sandwich or crisps in my room. Perhaps consider phrasing that sign differently.

Fantastic atmosphere of peace and quiet. Rooms, client service and breakfast are spotless. Only 5-minutes drive to the ski lift.

We missed an electric kettle in the room.

Ostello Alpino made our holiday. The staff are fantastic! They are the most friendly and helpful people you could ask for, which on top of a clean, modern and cosy property makes Ostello Alpino a must stay. Kids loved the breakfast and it is such a nice atmosphere for familys, couples and groups.

If I choose a queen bed I expect one big blanket, not 2 singles blanket !

The actual building and interiors are very modern, clean, fresh and warm. I loved the feel of the building. The fire and seating area was so, so comfortable. Good washing machine, garage and garden. Excellent family room for people with 3 or more children. Lovely, lovely breakfast.Staff were all amazing and so helpful. So friendly with our boys too.

Noise from the road sometimes but this cannot be helped. Lights on the balconies - I would have liked to be able to turn them off. In the evening, I think you should have a pizza oven and provide 2/3 types of homemade pizza. Maybe 1/2 pasta options. You would do so well! We struggled to eat in the evenings with the boys. The pizza you did wasn’t so great. A nice thin pizza fresh from an oven would suit your establishment. We loved your cheese, salami and crisps boards and toasts though.

- great value for money - beautiful lounge/breakfast room with charming fireplace- fun explorer themed decor - wonderful staff, they even helped me push the car out of the parking lot as it was struggling due to snow and made us tea when we were ill - free parking Would definitively go back

Everything was delightful; the rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. We really enjoyed aperitivo and breakfast in the common area around the fireplace. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating.

It would have been nice to have a set of shelves or table or similar so there was somewhere to unpack the suitcase and store/hang clothes in the second bedroom of the family room.

Helpful and friendly staff. Everybody was smiling and this created so much positive vibes throughout my stay.The breakfast had many options and everything was delicious. The mattress was comfy, my bed, the dorm and every common room were clean at all times.There’s a bike room with tools to fix your bike and a pipe to wash it just out of the garage. The location for cycling is strategic with Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo easily reachable.You have free parking spots and a view of the mountains from the garden. Lounge room with informative sport magazines about cycling, hiking, and skiing. Paintings with inspiring sentences.I initially booked two nights, then extended for other two, and felt I didn’t want to leave. Such magic place and atmosphere! Thank you all, guys!
