    Pros +

    • The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location to downtown Cortina was nice, with a lovely bike/walking path. And there was a shuttle to/from town. Food at breakfast was great. Rooms were nice and clean. New gym with decent equipment. Sauna had a great view.
    • The staff was so courteous, friendly, and professional. Concierge (Giovanni) helped us straighten out plans and organize reserve parking when we didn’t realize that was required. The spa is fantastic as is the restaurant. I could go on and on about the restaurant and front desk staff, but they are all just wonderful. We had a terrific visit and plan to return.
    • Shuttle service was amazing, concierge very helpful, check in was flawless, amenities in room were high quality, building was beautiful with great artwork and design, spa facilities were divine

    Cons -

    • Room was very small for the price. The facilities were lacking a bit as far as space to hangout (except in the restaurant dining room) and amenities (prior spa resort we came from had fooseball, billiards, complimentary afternoon cake/treats). While the breakfast food was good and high quality, it was annoying that not everything was covered, they had add on items for additional fees.
    • Rooms facing main road are very noisy, room was extremely hot - couldn’t leave window open due to noise from the road all evening and morning, restaurant staff were not dialled
    • We traveled for honeymoon of which we informed the staff beforehand, but not even an acknowledgement or congratulations received on our arrival - we would expect so much more from a 5 star stay...Rooms lacked AC and got quite warm, we left the windows open but worried about mosquitosView was partially of the other roomsSpa closes at 7:45pm which we thought was a bit too early, especially for a ski townThe breakfast (which was included) only involved basic egg items from the menu and anything like french toast or eggs benedict was excluded - perhaps charging $5 or 10$ more per night can remedy this? Many of the displays in the hotel were empty which just looked sad and awkward. I imagine they charge a fee for advertising and just have not built god enough relationships with other businesses?

Small 5 star hotel with kitchy decor located within walking distance of Cortina D/Ampezzo. Staff are available and courteous, breakfast selections are diverse, spa is lovely and even has an outdoor Finnish sauna.

We traveled for honeymoon of which we informed the staff beforehand, but not even an acknowledgement or congratulations received on our arrival - we would expect so much more from a 5 star stay...Rooms lacked AC and got quite warm, we left the windows open but worried about mosquitosView was partially of the other roomsSpa closes at 7:45pm which we thought was a bit too early, especially for a ski townThe breakfast (which was included) only involved basic egg items from the menu and anything like french toast or eggs benedict was excluded - perhaps charging $5 or 10$ more per night can remedy this? Many of the displays in the hotel were empty which just looked sad and awkward. This spa resort is fabulous! The accomodations were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful with an array of buffet style options. The location was excellent. A lovely 1.3 mile walk into town via a path (an old railroad that was converted into a walkway) that went along the valley and above the town. The staff was exceptional. Shout out to Canio at concierge, Valentina and Fabrizio at the restaurant and everyone at the front desk. And then there was the wellness spa...so well done, never felt crowded, several different saunas, cold plunge, pool and a Finnish sauna with a big picture window looking out at the valley. Rooms were good size, so quiet you never heard anything outside with lovely balconies facing the valley or patios. The resort is extremely upscale but chill enough to walk around (and encouraged by staff) in provided robes from room to the spa. Free parking was nice with a valet if needed. This resort went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and memorable, we really didn't want to leave. Thank You Rosapetra, hope to back one day!

There is nothing that could be improved at this spa resort-luxury hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel with impeccable service worthy of a 5 star hotel. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Giovanni, the Concierge, service was invaluable. He arranged for a private guide to take us to Tre Cime and made many wonderful recommendations on hikes and restaurants in town. Dispute the fact that we had a car, we took the complementary shuttle into town. They were always very prompt to pick us up. All the little extras, like turn down service, were appreciated. We highly recommend this hotel.

Seamlessly run hotel with phenomenal staff and facilities. Spa massage was luscious. Menu and good quality for both bfast and dinners were quite good.

Key insert in room was loose.

    It was clean.

It was such a cold day and they didn’t have heater turned on. You can only turn on heater by a mechanic at the hotel. There is no thermostat in the room. The entire hotel had to turn on the heater for us. It was the first snow of the year in September and they told me that they were not ready for this. I mean they knew that the cold weather was coming from the forecast but their excuse was that they weren’t expecting this. We were so cold when we checked in and it didn’t get comfortable until we went to sleep. They didn’t do anything compensation for all the sufferings. We were cold when we checked in and after dinner we came back still cold even though we requested to turn on the heater. The spa closes at 7:30pm? Claiming that it is a spa hotel? After certain hiking activities, spa is already closed.

Staff were helpful and friendly, spa very nice, rooms not large but very tastefully decorated. Shuttle bus into Cortina was very useful - essential

Breakfast wasn't always ready at 7am when it should have started. Coffee was surprisingly poor, given that it is Italy and there was not always plain yoghurt for breakfast.

(The team in the lobby ( reception and concierge was very friendly .

The room was very small .Not even place to open the suitcase. The breakfast was basic. The hight price is out of proportion.

Everything! All staff members were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Room is beautiful (and you can’t beat the view of the Tofane mountains from your balcony), SPA is great and breakfast is superb. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

Spent 5 nights in this splendid hotel - was definitely too short!

What did I not like! Formidable.

A touch more care at breakfast offering options to eat. And wine list is weird. Very cheap to exceedingly expensive and no Argentina wines

Incredible staff, great view. The food was incredible. We stayed for our honeymoon and were immediately welcomed by warm staff, and a personal note with a bottle of champagne waiting in our room. The view from our room was perfect, the spa was amazing, the staff recognized us every time we interacted and made us feel special the entire visit. We had an incredible stay - I wish we could have stayed longer! We will certainly be back here in the future.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided a shuttle from its location on the quieter periphery of the city into the center, which was very helpful. The design of the hotel is aestheically very appealing. We were given a room with a large balcony with a lovely view of the hillside behind the hotel.

The room itself was very small, and did not have comfortable seating. The breakfast was well presented, but not extensive. Considering the high cost of the stay, I cannot say that we received good value for money.

Fantastic spa, excellent rooms, lovely welcoming staff, great views

Rooms far too hot and couldn’t control the temperature, so had to sleep with the windows open. No where really to hang bath towels to dry properly.

The hotel itself is beautiful, a great mix of elegance and comfort, and the spa facilities are exceptional.

The quality of the service was extremely poor, to the point that we decided to leave early. The overall attitude was uninterested/uncaring, and the staff (including the manager!) were not attentive at all. The manager was more concerned about redecorating the restaurant than serving his guest at dinner time. And we constantly had to ask (and often remind) for what we wanted. Despite the beautiful property and facilities I would not recommend staying here.

Staff was very kind and helpful at the reception and spaDetailing of design was nice

It was very disappointing and a rip-off. Considering it's a five-star hotel of 450 euros, the rooms were extremely small in size. One couldn't even fit 2 suitcases and an extremely small bathroom. Reception was small with no ambiance of a 5 star hotel.Worst was the breakfast .... nowhere in 5 star hotel do they charge extra for dishes inspite of taking with breakfast rate. Hardly any selection in breakfast.Would rate this hotel max poor 4 star. We booked with high expectations as it's a small luxury hotel, but it dint match up to even an average 5 star.

beautiful boutique hotel with a great location off the main road. Not too far from the main city center, but quiet and on the main bike trail.
