Altstadt Hotel Mosser Villach mit Parkplatz

Good location. We were laying over to change trains. Very friendly staff. They are doing their best with a somewhat older but charming property. Over all we were pleased

Room was a bit warm. We understand that there are other rooms with air conditioning that could be booked if available.

Location is very close to the market which is convenient. Bathroom has Jacuzzi tub.

Hotel looked very gloomy. The hotel doesn't have AC but gave a small table fan which is again not of a good quality. Hotel doesn't provide complimentary water or anything. Not even have a coffee machine. Better get Holiday Inn! For --- euros i expect more

Location! Typically we don’t like to stay near a train station but Villach station is clean,appears safe and several nice looking hotels right across the street. We had to walk 2 blocks but it was fine. We walked across the street twice to a restaurant that was great, Villacher Breuhoff?The hotel breakfast was a very nice assortment of items.

The room was quite spacious, clean. We required a quiet room and they took care to give to us one.The staff was friendly and efficient.The breakfast was very good, lots of choice, and during the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The breakfast was very tasty.

The toilet was running continuously when we arrived, which was disturbing while sleeping. It was a bit stuffy, but opening the window was not a good idea because of the central location.

The Atmosphere and staff. It is a building of old style But when you stay.In large cities being able to stay in the older style. Reminds you what it was like in the past. Although everything has been modernized, so there aren't any inconveniences with respect, the " old style." Parking was easy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They made us feel like the hotel was our home.

I always admired this colorful building with its charming Parisian type outdoor/indoor cafe and chairs during my previous visits to Villach. Finally I stayed here,and it was great. It appears to be an older building that has been maintained very well.Clean,small,well run.Large rooms,high ceilings,modern bathrooms,comfortable bed. Good WiFi.Across the street is the taxi stand-and a vantage point to admire the gorgeous snow-capped mountain range.The train station is a 2-minute walk.The river ,a one minute walk.Old Town,just across that river's bridge. Cafes and restaurants nearby.Breakfast offered limited but high quality items. Freshly home-made bread too.Very reasonably priced hotel,at least in winter. Hotel was prompt in answering my emails-which is a sign of a well managed business..

Old facilities. Hotel has its best times behind. Staying there you will feel like in 80’s .

Good location, friendly staff.

This is not a 4star in my opinion. It needs an upgrade. You have to reach into the shower to get soap to wash your hands at the sink. A gurgling noise started in the middle of the night and when we got up in the morning sewage was coming up the shower waste. We had paid for breakfast but didnt bother, the breakfast area is from the 1970's.

Great location within easy walking from the train station. Hotel staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast in the lovely indoor garden atmosphere is excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious! Lots of great area restaurants and shopping close by. The mountain views from the nearby bridge are breathtaking! The town has a friendly, easy-going vibe, and the decorations for the Christmas Holidays are colorful and creative! I love it here!

Great location to train and town centre. Friendly staff, with great communication before arrival. Property has a quaint personally, with a lovely cafe. Breakfast had a good selection. Perfect place for my short stay

The room was spacious and clean, the parking space was close by and only costs something in the main season, the staff was very nice and helpful, you can experience the ling history of the house through the fotos on the walls in the stair case.

The electric key was quite unique and one needs to get used to it. The window was not quite soundproofed, so you could here everything going on on the street, and sometimes you could here the pipes.

Nice staff, great room with AC, very comfortable.

Shower couldnt be hung up, was unhandy to use. Bathroom is small but alright.

Really gorgeous rooms and very clean. Location was so close to the downtown Villach where there are tons of restaurants. Front desk offered me a bike (included in the room payment) and places to go! Very appreciative of the local knowledge and was thrilled with my stay here!

No helmets for bikes :(
