- Breakfast
- Good breakfast. Super friendly staff.
- The location was terrific, just a very short walk from the train station. It was a short walk to the shops in part of the downtown area, too. The breakfast was very good, too.And my room had a nice balcony overlooking the street with a very nice view. It was a nice place to read and relax.
Cons -
- No parking, No Ice Machine, No Sanau and the mini refrigerator did not work.
- It got a bit hot at night. A fan would have helped but it wasn’t too bad. I traveled in late June.
- The bathroom was pretty small and the shower, maybe the size of a phone booth, was very hard to get out of without getting water from the shower doors all over the floor when opening the doors. Also, it was fairly warm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen when I was there, and the room wasn't air conditioned. The window offered a nice cooling breeze but I had to close it at night because there was a lot of noise outside from people hanging around the train station.

The location, breakfast, and friendly stay made it a pleasure.

Staff was very patient with our attempts to speak German.. Our view from our room was absolutely incredible..!
Our only complaint, but not really a big deal.. but the buffet breakfasts didn’t happen. So we just explored and found other restaurants in town..
The location is the best! You have amazing views of the mountains! You are across the street from the train and bus station, you are a 15 minute walk to the main downtown area, and a 20 minute walk to Ludwigstraße. There are also so many hiking trails close by including a walking trail along the river towards the Parnach gorge. The staff are kind, friendly, and accommodating ?. Lastly the restaurant has good food.
Size of the room was great. Breakfast was very good .. just across from the train and can walk to town easily.
Maybe the bed mattresses need some update. That’s all.
Location and breakfast were nice. Room was quiet
bed and pillow, they were uncomfortable
Good location, clean but dated, 5min walk to train station, 10min walk to Altstadt, decent breakfast, friendly staff, free parking in the back of hotel
Beds not comfortable, very dated hotel, no mini fridge, no coffee/tea in room
very central. right across the train station.
although tap water is potable, i would have preferred to have complimentary water available. room is rather warm.
Close to the train station.
Unfriendly staff, pretending to offer facilities (laundry service) that it turned out didn't exist. Never received welcome card despite paying tourist tax. Breakfast service was stressful and disappointing - bad food, coffee machine didn't work. Beds were hard, pillow tiny. Overall bad hospitality and terrible value for money.
GREAT LOCATION! 100 meters away from the bahnhof. Easy access to busses etc.Breakfast buffet (7-10) is VERY good but they start cleaning up a few minutes early so don't don't show up hungry at 9:55. Otherwise property is great. Oh...their front desk is not open at night, so if you need to check-in late you should call them and they can arrange it.
Because it's right by the center of town, not all the rooms have fabulous mountain views. Lots of those just outside the door.
Great place, wonderful breakfast, and an excellent location, super friendly staff highly recommend this place to any traveler, especially if coming by train, literally a one block walk from the train station ?
Close to train station and embarking on ski train. Breakfast was good and varied.
The hotel has a convenient location next to the railway station. The breakfast was good. You’ll get a complimentary pass to use the local transportation, discount from museum tickets etc. Also possibility to use a fitness center facilities nearby. I really appreciated these extras. Would definitely visit again!
Great location. So easy to start and finish trips besides the bus / train station. Surprisingly quiet location with lovely walks. Really enjoyed the breakfast - something for everyone. Helpful, friendly staff.
Its location by the railway station.Staff
Lack of a bar after 8pm
We love this hotel! The staff is so friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the breakfast is delicious
Good location and very friendly and helpful staff
Dated property and basic rooms
Closeness to the ski area via train, breakfast and ski storage. Very good place to stay for a couple of skiing days.
There was no double bed in the room, just two single beds moved together. Also the bathrooms are a bit small.
