- The staff was so wonderful! They were vert friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a large variety. Everything was very fresh.
- Staff was very friendly, room was clean, and location was quiet yet near downtown.
- The location was perfect for skiing and visiting the town, the breakfast was great, the room was comfortable and I liked how the bed split into two twin beds. They had a good ski storage room with ski boot warmers.
Cons -
- The hotel does feel a bit dated in places, although it’s clear that it’s very well cared for and maintained with attention and effort. It would be great to see the minibar stocked instead of being empty — that small touch would make the stay feel more complete. Also, a few extra activities or entertainment options for kids in the evenings would be a nice addition. One more small suggestion: upgrading the TV to allow screen mirroring or streaming from a phone would be perfect for cozy family movie nights.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A very cozy and charming hotel. Small, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. There’s a sauna and a gym, which was a nice bonus. The biggest highlight, though, is the staff — incredibly warm, kind, and professional. They truly make the whole experience feel special. We stayed during the New Year week with our two kids (7 and 8 years old) for a skiing trip. The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the ski lift, which was very convenient, and also about a 10-minute walk to the town center.Breakfast was varied and tasty, but one staff member completely won our hearts: every morning she hand-painted the boiled eggs for breakfast, and for our son she even made two little chocolate hearts in his cocoa instead of one. Such a small detail, but it made our stay unforgettable.

All was good
Location was easy walking distance to downtown with ample free parking. Breakfast selections were fresh and delicious.
Great location, wonderful, friendly, and accommodating staff, tasty breakfast! Better than expected for the last minutes trip decision. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area. Thank you!
All was great!
Excellent location, only a 5 minute walk to the center of town. The views were spectacular with mountains all around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. There is a sauna, massage, and other facilities available. Breakfast was super with many choices on the buffet. Definitely recommend!
Nice and cozy hotel, not too big. Breakfast was great, staff was very serviceminded and very close to the main city centre. We will hirely recommend this place.
Maybe a little upgrade of the top mattress of the bed and it would be very comfortable and just a little bigger refrigerator i guess if you are staying for longer time it will help to store more drinks and food.
Location was perfect for exploring Garmisch. Plenty of parking and the center of town is only a few blocks away. The train to get to Zugspitze is a 5 minute walk so that was very convenient. The rooms were large and had a nice balcony (which we like to sit after a busy day exploring). Restaurants and supermarkets are close. It is also only a short drive to Partenkinchen and Mittenwald. Good strategic location for exploring. The host (Owner) Henri Brunnthaler was nice and accommodating. A very Bavarian looking hotel nestled in a residential neighborhood. I would stay again and would recommend!!
Nothing to report
Despite heavy, stop & go traffic from the Munich airport, we arrived at few hours ahead of check in time. So happy that our room was ready and we were able to check in immediately. The room was large, light, and airy with a comfortable bed, fluffy pillows/linens, a closet, rain shower and a private balcony with chairs to view the mountains. They served a top notch German breakfast with cold cuts/cheeses, cooked eggs, multiple breads, yogurt, fruit and excellent coffee/cappuccino. The entire hotel is super clean and well maintained. The location is great! We parked the car as it was only a 5 min walk to restaurants, grocery store and shops. The entire staff was super helpful, friendly and pleasant. We didn't use the sauna or the lounge that was available.
It was a bit pricy but the accommodations were great.
Location was great and within walking distance of everything I needed, staff was incredibly helpful and breakfast and cappuccino were delicious. There was even a fan in my room as the weather was quite warm.
The hotel is modern and extremely clean, and the rooms are just as spotless. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The view is also really beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Small cozy family own hotel. Lovely.
The hair dryer was a bit tired :)
The location was very good, close to the train station and city center, yet extremely quiet. We also had a balcony with a direct view of Zugspitze, which was absolutely breathtaking.
On the first night, we had an issue with the drainage system that caused half of the room to flood. Since it happened in the middle of the night, we had to dry it ourselves with all the towels available. Fortunately, once we informed the receptionist, the issue was fixed the same day.
Perfect 3 night stay, room was very large, balcony was great, towel dryer in the shower for drying hand wash clothes, best scrambled eggs I have had in a long time, specialty coffee was included with the breakfast buffet. To top it off a gift of chocolate when we checked out.
Loved the magical charm of this place! Staff was excellent … especially Maria at breakfast ?. Breakfast was tasty and filling with a nice assortment. Mountain View’s around this place are beautiful and breathtaking. Short walk to town.
The location was perfect…not in the heart of town but close enough to walk easily. The proximity to the train station was fantastic!!
There isn’t anything that we didn’t like.
We had a wonderful modern, spacious and clean room. Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The breakfast was very good and the hostess in the dining room is an amazing woman. The hotel has a free parking and it is very close to the station which the train to Zugspitze departure to, and 10 minutes walking to the center.
