My partner and I stayed in the the Lodge Maisonette, which had a lofted living room area with a hammock and book nook. We enjoyed having the extra space to relax in--that hammock in the loft was truly the most comfortable hammock I've ever laid in (definitely recommend booking a room with a loft!). The interiors were beautifully designed with big windows/views, and we also appreciated the overall layout of the room and felt that we could easily unpack without feeling cramped. However, we did utilize the extra single bed for storage, so 3-person parties could be tighter on space. Location is great as well, within walking distance to many restaurants/shops and not far from the train station either. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here for a winter getaway in Garmisch!

Compact and cozy! We would stay here again. The staff was wonderful and we loved the breakfast. Definitely works for three travelers.

Check in staff. No coffee in room, asked for extra pillows none were brought. . More like a mini apartment than a hotel! If you don’t need anything you’ll be fine

Great modern architecture blended in to the original home. Fresh and vibrant. Kai on the front desk was fantastic with great tips on things to do and great restaurants to eat at.

The apartment was filled with character, was clean and comfortable but the deck was absolutely the star of the show with views of the mountains and the town. Our host was welcoming and informative.

Nothing to improve here but if you do use the bunk beds make sure whoever is on top can navigate the ladder.

Very clean place with a unique interrior! A minimalsts dream with an amazing location - right in the middle of the city, close to local restaurants. If you are looking for a place to stay and you want something different to a usual hotels - this is a place to stay. Also, very close many nature trails,, mountains and places like - Eibsee lake and Zugspitze mountains.

Too expensive for basically nothing but a bed and shower. It has no windows that open and was stiflingly hot

Apartment has no windows you can open when it’s hot. There is a hatch for skis that can be opened but then the noise from the main road is unbearable at night. Otherwise there is a tiny opening above the entrance door. Not recommended for warm summer days, more so for winter ski holidays. A fan was offered on check out.

Beautiful property and rooms, a short walk to the lovely town of Garmisch. Only complaint was the room temperature, no AC and little air flow since due to lack of windows that open. Service was pleasant and helpful.

The whole trip and stay were super great, super love the hotel interior looks nice and minimalistic. Room also quite comfort and quiet. Location is great, 5 to 10 mins to take you into the heart of the city!

1) Booking.com says luggage storage available But quartier reception says no luggage storage, luckily the reception agreed to keep our bags for few hours after check out 2) Lower floor was very cold, carpet/mat would have been helpful

Good access to ski locations

Electric car charger was not working. Suggestion would be to have a microwave in the kitchen area as there is no way to warm food.

wonderful stay with a lovely Alpine lodge feel, had a sense of being very tranquil and private while being extremely close to restaurants shops and transport. Kai, Sarah and the team were so welcoming and helpful during out stay. Kids loved it, definitely a must stay in the area.

Family of four and stayed in the bunk bed room very comfortably. Excellent facilities, location and staff. Recommend!

The staff was extremely friendly and nice.The room itself was also very cozy. Loved the mountain view from the room.

Nothing to complain about, the bath area has a glassdoor. So privacy is limited there. But the toilet is separate and has a door. ?

The lodge is beautiful, and the design elements included are really creative. It was really enjoyable spending time in the lodge. The staff (Kai) is very nice and helpful, and him informing us that the street parking is free was really appreciated. The location is perfect - close walk to the center, to Lidl and to the cogwheel train station that takes you to Zugspitze. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to GaPa.

The only thing was that the shower room does not have a curtain as a door /privacy.

the location is on the main road you can not really open a window.The pictures shows a nice place which is not at all apart of the hotel.the man at the desk was not friendly at all;he never looked at us ;never said hello or good morning when we passed by..

Lovely hotel / lodge type rooms, very close to the main street in Garmish, about a 10-15 min walk from the train station

Not much we didn’t like, but note that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot when we were there in mid August. However plug in fans were available and the staff were great
