    Pros +

    • THE EMPLOYEES WERE SO NICE AND ON THE SPOT. AND GREAT CLEAN PLACE
    • Old town was good
    • Easy access from the train station and to nearby restaurants.

    Cons -

    • No AC or fan on the room. Had to prop the door open to get any fresh air. Door did not tolt in near the ceiling. Only partially opened due to desk in the way. Small room but balcony saved us.
    • No bottles of water in the room.
    • Beds, pillows were very uncomfortable. My wife and I woke up with sore backs and necks from the pillows and bed. The beds were seemingly broken as mine had a huge divot in it where the springs were not working properly. The pillows were as if you might as well not have pillows at all your lay your head on there and it goes to nothing I had to ask for several pillows just to be able to properly adjust my head.

Location is great. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff friendliness great.Clean rooms.

Couldn't change dollars for euros.Hotel needs to be updated, renovated or fixed.Elevators are super small.Seems to me there is no effort for the upkeep of the hotel.

Great location. Three minutes walk to train station about 7 minute to Zugspitze train station. Also great access to shopping district in Garmisch (less than 10 minute walk) and Ludwigstrasse shopping in Partenkirchen (about 20 minute walk). I had a junior suite which was spacious with plenty of room to store things. I had a balcony that faced the mountains. There was a couch and a few chairs in room. Nice to sit in room with mountains in view as you edit photos, etc. all staff were very nice. The breakfast set up was good with a full complement of meats, cheeses, breads, croissants etc. I think that it was a very good value and would be more than happy to stay there again.

Great location for Zugspitze and for the bahnhof to get to any place in town and the surrounding area of Garmish

Super strict on check in time and the parking garage was as tight as parking in the worst garage in Hong Kong!

Location was super convenient for train/bus access. Breakfast was great.

Room was okay size. Mattress and pillow were below expectations. Bathroom was tiny.

    9EndrePosted on: 9-28-2025

Good breakfast, hot dishes made from scratch. No A/C in room made for a slight warm/noisy experience as the room was facing the afternoon sun and also the street with a bit of traffic outside.Short walk to bars, restaurants and nightlife.

    Better A/C possibilities in room

    Location to the train station.

The front desk clerk was absolutely horrible. Would not let us check in a minute before 3 pm. Had a horrible attitude and didn’t mention how to get WiFi or that breakfast was included. He should not be a front desk clerk.

    10CruzinhaPosted on: 9-23-2025

Breakfast was great and abundant. Hotel right next to the train station. The city centre too is walkable distance. The hotel provides you with a transport card that can be used free of charge on buses and some attractions at a discounted price.

Check in can be a bit early. 3pm is too late.

I liked everything:location, breakfast, room, cleanliness

I was raised in Germany and believe in integrity. I was double charged on check-out (paid cash the night before and forced to re-pay by card while rushing to catch train) Even though I presented receipts, they continue to maintain their argument refusing to make it right.Integrity is important yo me so I will not be using same hotel again. I’m convinced that 44 Euro pymt in cash was applied to wrong account when clerk tried to deal in English while I (Fluent in German) tried to point out his error about our stay. The next morning as I was leaving, they came up with additional bill. That’s not the German integrity I am used to

Was not expecting an upscale hotel based on the information online so was greatly surprised. The breakfast was superb with a great variety of foods and the view out of the hotel (street/mountain view) was incredible. Will definitely stay here again when we get back into Garmische

    9SamPosted on: 8-26-2025

The views of the mountains were very striking and the room very comfortable. The location was convenient and the breakfast was truly excellent with a massive choice!

I loved this hotel. It's modern, very clean, and well located just across the park from the train station. It was seemingly new and modern and far exceeded my expectations.

    Check in time was 3:00.
