The property is just a short walk from the train station. There’s an Italian/Mexican restaurant very close by and a small convenience store in the train station for snacks/drinks to purchase. I believe the hotel also has snacks and drinks you can purchase, but we did not utilize this. The buffet was nice for what we’ve had while in Europe (nothing like you’d find at American buffets though).

CONSTRUCTION! I understand that buildings need to undergo construction, but there was LOUD banging starting at 7:30-8:00 in the morning! On our last morning, we had breakfast at the buffet and were going to slowly roll out and catch the train to our next destination because I wasn’t feeling that well. The construction noise was so bad that I could barely take it anymore. If you will be up and out by 7-7:30am, then you won’t have a problem. If you like to sleep in, pick a different hotel! The rooms were not very sound proof either. We definitely heard our neighbors around 9-9:30pm when we were trying to sleep before catching an early train.

Mountain view, size of king bed, design and cleanliness.

It was very charming, clean and the staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, all sorts of tea assortments, everything was very fresh and of high quality.

Great location - close to the train station, yet easy to walk into town. Newly renovated and very stylish, yet Bavarian decor. Nice breakfast with a lot of variety.

The shower had no door, so you had your be a little careful about not getting water everywhere. Great water pressure though.

Good location, close to everything, you can walk to small river and have a relaxed time. Zugspitze and Eibsee are close and easy to visit (beautiful places!)We had room for 3 with balcony, very nice room, two armchairs made it more comfortable.Great breakfast, warm eggs are offered, a lot of fruits, tees etc.We received guest card of the region, that allows free use of public transport and discount on some attractions.

Nothing really. One small suggestion is to put a kettle in the room, to be able to make some tea in the evening. Although coffee and tea are offered for free in the lobby, its not warm enough.

WiFi was extremely poor. The fire alarm went off because someone took a hot shower and there was poor ventilation in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel was very convenient for us given that we had a car. We even stepped out a couple of days to find restaurants close by. The property is also close to the train station and hence was very convenient if one chooses to come by train. There was ample parking at the property.Our hotel room was very good and was very clean. We had a balcony and the view was beautiful as well; ideal for when you want to just relax. The room did not have a kettle for hot water but it can be requested at the reception. If one wants a tea or a coffee, one needs to step down to the common area downstairs, a tad bit inconvenient to step down when you are just in your pajamas.The breakfast was delicious with several options. All the staff in the breakfast room and the reception were very kind and friendly. Thank you for the hospitality!

Great stay, great location, wonderful breakfast with a few cooked egg options, great spread of other options. A lot of restaurant options nearby and a few blocks from train station, bus and train depot to the Zugspitz

Beautiful property a shot walk aware from the station. It had a lovely alpine feel with a modern finish, great staff and lovely facilities.

Breakfast: they make scrambled eggs and pancakes to order. There's a very good variety of food besides that, as well.Room: good beds, excellent shower, all we needed.Ski storage: present on the ground floor.Staff: friendly, helpful and accommodating. Short walk from the Zugspitzebahnhof (the station where the train leaves for all the lifts on the mountain). Several dining options nearby (near the station), lots more a short walk beyond that.

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet area facing the mountains. Walking distance from downtown Garmisch. The staff is very friendly, and professional. The house was very clean with plenty of space and linen for guests. The breakfast was excellent. Everyone spoke English language and it was easy to communicate.

Helpful and friendly reception and breakfast staff. Quality and choice at breakfast was excellent. Really appreciated the honesty bar. Location of hotel was perfect for the short walk in the morning to connect with the gondola ski station where we kept our skis.

Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. Front desk reception and breakfast buffet waitress were very friendly and welcoming. Easy check in and check out with parking on property. The room was spotless and quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh, nicely laid out buffet and had everything we wanted for breakfast. We highly recommend staying here.
