Cons -
- Beds too hard, charged an extra 8 Euro for breakfast (not advertised), charged 5 Euro for use of the Sauna (not advertised), location on a busy street with little visibility at the exit made it dangerous to enter traffic, little parking available
- The bathroom looks nothing like from the stock photo It is tiny and not lighted well. When sitting down on the toilet your knee will bang against the wall. To access the shower, you have to cross the toilet.

Price of breakfast,
It's an old world polite hotel, nice beds, great views, friendly staff, great sauna (if you get it hot enough)
The room was quite small, and there's no sockets by the bed.
The room and hotel was nice, had an old age style. The bathroom was a little disappointing, for the toilet products they offered, they seemed cheap for the place. The sauna didnt work. The place looks really nice still. They offered free coffee. The Wifi had really bad connection in the room. It is in the center of Partnach, it was lovely.
Wasnt expecting very much but pleasantly surprised. OK, decor is fading a little but quite a few facilities for an older style hotel, centrally located, very helpful lady on front desk. Very nice sauna area.
Booking.com instructions invited me to a different hotel!!I saw a rat coming from the kitchen area that went under the bar and seemed quite at home. Barman didnt seem too bothered.
The Atlas Grand Hotel* has labyrinthine halls with antique artwork and furniture, making this hotel better than some museums I've been in. It felt like a step back in time to somewhere in between Cinderella or the Addams Family. A statue watched me sleep. Relaxing multilevel patio area with a pond. Fairy-tale like neighborhood (especially wandering uphill through the churchyard and beyond). I was welcomed with a Sekt (sparkling wine). *My booking for the Hotel Atlas Sport was converted (upgraded) into the Atlas Grand Hotel, 700m away.
Stepping into the shower would be difficult for those without a climbing or gymnastics background. The bed was fit for a king -- a short medieval king who doesn't turn side to side overnight. Walking from reception to the bedroom was a bit like walking from Palace to Barn in terms of decoration; a fun bit of a hodge podge of styles going on there.
Good location, very friendly staff and affordable room price.
a limited number of parking place
Disappointed
I had booked my stay in hotel atlas sport. When I arrived there, the hotel was closed and there was a sign telling me to call a number. I called and they told me my stay was transferred to the atlas grand hotel. They told me they sent a message to tell me about this. The message was in German!!!!! Ok, after going to the grand hotel, we were assigned rooms etc but the bathroom had a slight smell of sewage. Some plumbing issue. The restaurant staff in the hotel doesn’t speak English and also doesn’t even try. They ignored me and my friend several times up to the point we gave up and went to another restaurant in the street. In general, the staff was quite rude (like, if we ask things in English often they would reply back in German). I expected better treatment in a 4 star hotel.
We were upgraded to the Atlas Grand Hotel as the Atlas Sport was closed for renovations. It was a lovely hotel in the heart of the old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful and parking was easy in an undercover carpark just by the hotel.
The room was a little dated but the bathroom was renovated which was nice
Moved to grand hotel, nice stuff, good room, elevator, city center
Kind of an old room but we didn’t mind at all - the hotel is a historic hotel so it was expected
Great hotel. Designed in vintage style. Excellent service at the reception. Very clean! Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!
The hotel had the room booked out because of a Ukrainan conference so they had rebooked me for another hotel about 3 km away. It was in a cultural Easter part of town which I liked! Situation wasn't ideal but I do appreciate the staff's ability to be flexible and find other accommodations for me
Nil
it was totally a disaster, the hotel has been closed and then they asked you to go to another horrible hotel. I have been asked the refund for 2 week. But they didn't proceed.
Kind staff and very supportive
The location changed and no body notified me. Also the new hotel location not easy to find.
We were accomodated in Atlas Grand, sister hotel for Atlas Grand. The rooms were clean with amazing view of snow mountains.
I booked this hotel on late notice (the day of) then they messaged me saying they would have to move us to their sister hotel. Their sister hotel was the Atlas Grand which was located in the "center" of town. Our stay was absolutely wonderful there, and the staff was incredibly friendly,
I was a little stressed about having our hotel switched, but I think it was actually a free upgrade.
Was clean, had a great breakfast, staff was very friendly.
Sauna was broke but still had a great comfortable time there.
Good location and nice facilities in the hotel
WiFi is weak in the room. Breakfast is bit expensive
We were transferred to Atlas Grand Hotel just across the street, and the hotel was fantastic. Room was very comfortable and styled in a cozy way. It might feel a little dated with the decor but we found it charming. The bus doesn't go directly to the hotel, and there were road closures so it was a bit difficult to get there, so best if you don't have large luggages. The are itself is right in the middle and there are lovely chcolate shops and bakeries around. The receptionist was excellent and a very lovely guy super eager to give us directions and recommendations. Bubbly as welcome drink was a nice touch too
We went there in August so the room was a bit warm during the day and we tried to stay next to the window, which opened into a balcony with an apple tree. In the night time, the temperature dropped enough for the night to be comfortable
