Lovely hotel with beautiful entrance and sitting areas on the ground level. The staff were helpful in many ways the breakfast was very good. Located convenient to the train station and to all the places we wanted to see in Trento. Very elegant hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there for two days.

This hotel was conveniently located across the park from both the main bus and train station, a quick 3min walk to hotel. It is also only about 10 min walk to main square with the Duomo and many restaurants. It was a very beautiful hotel, with elegant lobby, bar & breakfast area. Our room was very good sized, a very comfy bed, windows that opened for a great breeze, tea kettle, mini bar, and large bathroom with shower with hot water and good water pressure. Excellent hot breakfast was included with eggs, bacon, rolls, pastries, meat& cheese etc. Staff was very helpful, stored our luggage until check-in, and provided the guest Trentino mobil pass. This pass gave us free transport on local buses and regional trains, plus discounts at museums. They provided the link and talked me through how to use it. We used the pass 2 days- once for free train to Rovereto and free entry to Italian WWI museum and the 2nd day for bus to Riva Del Garda. With this pass, we didn't have to worry about purchasing tickets, just get on the train or bus.

There was no outlet right next to the bed so I had to charge my phone across the room. Not a big issue but I often like to read while charging the phone. Also, the bathroom has a tub/shower combo with a short 3ft wall. If you aren't careful, water sprays out pass the wall and on to floor. Not an issue for me but this type of shower always causes issues for my husband.

Good location right next.to train station

Decor a little dated and tired- could do with a bit of renovation

    8KatherinePosted on: 8-5-2025

    Good breakfast, comfortable room

There is a weird system for turning on and off lights in the room and it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to turn off the lights before bed.

An elegant property with loads of traditional architectural details and terrific location right in the centre. Attentive staff who genuinely welcome you and a beautiful sitting room and staircase. Lift was always easily available.

Some vegan hot food items at breakfast would be great to complement other options.

Conveniently located right outside the old town. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We loved the interior design of the lobby and bar. The room was comfortable and quiet.

    Everything was great.

Perfect location, I couldn’t recommend a better than this hotel if you want to explore downtown and be away from the noise.

I was not present, bjt my husband mentioned the breakfast was just ok.

I can't imagine a better location, especially if you're driving - or arriving by train for that matter. The hotel has underground parking (11 euros I think), but it's also just a short distance from the train station (yet I never heard a train, which is great). We drove. The one-way streets make it a little awkward getting in and out, but the roads were wide and easy to navigate.During our 7 nights, we took one day trip to Bolzano and St. John's church north of Trento. But we also had to drive to the other side of town to rent a car seat (which the hotel told us about) so our friends could join with their toddler. So we came and went a few times. Very manageable. The room was spacious and had traditional charm. The bed was extremely firm (like sleeping on a futon), but there was plenty of space for luggage, as well as a kettle and instant coffee. Mini fridge as well. Our view was toward the Old Town, which was pretty enough. But trucks collected glass late at night and early in the morning, seemingly right outside our window. With the window open for spring weather, it definitely woke us up. I would probably try to face the park next time. The front desk staff was amazing. They spoke excellent English, were very friendly, and even found out the age of the beautiful Japanese Maples in front of the hotel. I forgot to take a photo, but I'll include the wisteria just across the street. The staff also helped us find a place to rent a car seat when we emailed before our stay. Just really great customer service. The breakfast staff wasn't nearly as friendly. There was the same gruff man at a desk each morning, randomly deciding who could sit in the formal restaurant (which is beautiful). Most people are ushered (without choice) to the little breakfast nook, which is crowded and hectic because that's where the buffet is.On one very crowded day, we were "allowed" to sit in the formal dining area. It really is a beautiful space.

Bed was hard, room didn't have a fan during a warm spring (April), and the breakfast guy really was rude first thing in the morning. But those are minor issues compared to the elegant lobby, incredible front desk staff, and absolutely perfect location. We might seriously ask for a pillow top mattress thing or whatever to make the bed more comfortable, but we will be staying here again regardless. We already added 2 days to our stay because we lived Trento and the hotel so much.

Gorgeous hotel in a good location, handy to bus and train stations and to the Old Town. Large comfortable room, excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Perfect.

    No criticisms.
