Lovely room with a mountain view; quiet and cool, with two large windows. Great staff; prepared me a meal at the restaurant even though they were officially closed; lent me a free bicycle which I used all day.

Very well run, easy to access, very clean, well designed. Good views from the room. Ideally located in town. Many breakfast options.

Only one elevator, a very minor annoyance.

Bar and restaurant not open Sunday night when everything in town was closed too.

Even though the room is a little small, it is still comfortable. I was given a quite room facing the courtyard as requested and the view of the castelo from the little balcony was fabulous. Nicholas and Eleonora at the friend desk are very hospitable and so is the staff in the breakfast room. The breakfast is real good and has plenty of options.

Depends on the room. I changed 3 rooms in 2 days. Check that your room windows are not on the street ANA you don't see AC system blocks - it makes noise 24*7.

Breakfast was absolute highlight. The location was very practical and directly in the city. The room was very quit for sleeping. The price was totally worth it.

Cold water in the shower, and 1 o’clock …. Boom no more air conditioning no more electricity… living my wife in the dark to feed our 6 month old baby

The breakfast was incredible! Loved our room with the balcony & was very quiet. Location was right next to the most amazing pizza place for dinner! Would highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel and room was very nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. We also appreciated the secure bicycle storage area that was equipped with electric bike charging outlets.

Great location, short walk from the train station and city center. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We booked a very spacious room with a great view. Very clean room with all the commodities needed. The breakfast buffet had an abundant choice. Highly recommend this family owned hotel. They obviously take great pride in the service they offer. We will be back.

The hotel Is really nice and cosy. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast and the breakfast room were really good and nice.The position is also attached to the town center so it is easy to reach everything by walking.

Unfortunately it was not possible to cool down the temperature of our room. it was very hot, probably a problem with the thermostat that we tried to change with no success. Also the water was only hot and there was no pressure for the cold water. Pity because otherwise our stay was great

Pleasant middle-class hotel between station (seven minutes walk) and old town, close to everything. Fresh, clean, professionally run. Excellent, all-day bar and bistrot with good and reasonably-priced snacks if you don't want a full meal. (There are restaurants nearby if you do).And, rare nowadays, there is a separate lounge where you can read on a rainy day.The breakfast is fine, from fresh fruit and savoury items to a cake buffet(!) Something for everyone.
