About
Hotel Villa Madruzzo, a refined 4-star property nestled in the green hills overlooking Trento, combines peace, charm, and elegance. Guests can unwind at the modern wellness center, featuring an indoor pool, emotional showers, steam bath, Turkish bath, and an outdoor hot tub—perfect for every season. The hotel harmoniously blends the history of a 19th-century noble villa with the comfort of a contemporary wing, connected through a charming garden. Each air-conditioned room offers free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV, and has its own unique character: some are furnished with original antiques, while others boast exposed wooden beams and delightful views of the surrounding park. The restaurant, with three elegant dining halls on the ground floor, serves dishes prepared with fresh, top-quality ingredients. Homemade desserts, a rich wine list, and a fine selection of grappas complete the culinary experience. A generous buffet breakfast is served daily. Free parking is available. During your stay, you will also receive the Trentino Guest Card, which grants free access to local museums, castles, and natural parks, along with unlimited use of public transport, regional trains, and the Trento–Monte Bondone ski shuttle.

- Delicious breakfast, fantastic dinner, marvelous decor, friendly staff, very clean, gorgeous views and landscaping.
Cons -
- The room was very small, only portals and a skylight not a real window and the bathroom is small.
- Not as near downtown as I expected. Uphill, not pedestrian friendly.
- Not comfy beds and two-layer blankets (not attached as single)Old furniture, especially old building.Noise (not soundproof) and vibrating ground in old building.Swimming pool hours are limited in the evening (last entrance at 20:00)Limited non-sweet options in breakfast, but many great sweets. Also, limited whole-grain (integral) breadsToilets were very close to the wall or heating system, so difficult to use without touching the wall. This was my second time staying there after 3 years, but I think it was better previously.

Excellent service, food and scenery.
Staff is ultra friendly, very nice breakfast, quiet location, nice and clean rooms with pleasant smell. Everything was perfect from what i experienced.
Available at last minute. Breakfast was nice.
The medieval element is overstated. Naturally it’s redone. We went off season so felt a bit oddly empty
Classic villa rooms with an extraordinary staff
Parking is sometimes difficult especially during dinner times
The location and view are fabulous! The staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We really appreciated having a restaurant on site for dinner - the food was good and reasonably priced. The hotel is elegant without being stuffy. Our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the pool. It was nice to sit out on the terrace for drinks.
Nothing!
Very nice property and very clean. Service staff was great.
Our AC was apparently not working.
The most important thing about this stay are the staff! They bring “customer service” to a highest level I have ever seen in Europe. Truly make you feel like you are on vacation and you can relax. The restaurant has fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The property is beautiful and a great base camp for exploring the region with a car. Thank you so much — we will be back soon!!!
Great friendly staff, great food, great hospitality
Staff was very nice. Buildings and grounds were absolutely beautiful! Clean. Professional. In addition to obviously speaking Italian, almost everyone spoke English & German. For the quality of hotel, the price was great! Something like this in USA would be $150-$200 more per night.
Being used to fans & air conditioning, it is hard to adjust to sleeping without air conditioning. However, outside temperatures were mild so we left our patio door open and used small portable fans we brought. We slept comfortably.
Breakfast
This seems more like a high level motel rather than a villa. Rooms are not what I would expect for a 4* hotel and what is called a villa. The staff was not very nice and a bit apprehensive about two boys sleeping in same bed (they asked twice if we were fine with that when we asked for it). Parking is complicated to get in.
The hotel is set a little outside the city, in a beautiful natural setting. The restaurant, which is well-known in the area, is excellent. Great value for money — highly recommended
We loved the generous and varied breakfast, which set us up perfectly for the day. The location offers superb views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a beautiful place to relax. The on-site SPA, while compact, was clean and functional, offering a nice way to unwind after sightseeing.
Reaching the hotel by public transport can be a little tricky, especially if you are carrying luggage. Our room, while comfortable, was on the small side and could benefit from some renovation and modern touches to bring it up to the same high standard as the rest of the property.
A great stay at Hotel Villa Madruzza. Beautiful historic rooms, peaceful location, and excellent staff. The charm of the building and the warm hospitality made our visit truly enjoyable. We’d definitely come back!
Easy check in and check out. Everything was perfect. Excellent breakfast. Spectacular views. Small but very functional SPA. Comfy beds and rooms. Polite and helpful staff. Local jam provided as a gift during checkout.
Nothing. Exerything was perfect.
Nice and clean rooms.A bit noisy A/C.Cheap prices for the mini bar.Great facilities.Lovely staff, kind and helpful about the hotel and the surroundings.
Dinner (hotel's restaurant, not included in the room price) was too pricey and not meeting the expectations.
