Rothenfels Panorama Hotel

I arrived at the hotel after midnight due to a busy travel schedule and wasn't sure if I would be able to check in cause it was super late and the doors were closed. However, the staff made sure to leave me a note with my room key outside and I was able to get in fast. Thank you very much for that!

Large clear glass window in bathroom and No blinds curtains or shutters, completely exposed and no window privacy at all. Window needed to be open to let in some fresh air but the road noise was annoying.

The View is Beautiful and the staff are really nice especially Ricardo and Marcel . Marcel was really helpful and attentive.

For £150 euros a night it was extremely basic and Cheap - Like a very cheap Hostel . They charge 7 Euros for a bottle of water hahah but They have the flattest pillows of any Hotel I have stayed at . No fridge in the Room (It was 30 Degrees) . No tea or Coffee or Kettle (Crazy) and the internet is extremely BAD. It is 2024 , these are extremely basic things to get right for a Hotel . Very strange

Personal Balcony with stunning views across the lake.Good breakfast with great staff member.

Beds were very uncomfortable.Decor very dated as were the bathroom fitting.Dinner was disgusting. Food was overcooked and bland. Ate it as we were hungry after a long day travelling but would not recommend eating there!

Superb location. Excellent garaged parking for the motorbike. Lovely meals served by the restaurant. Great view from the balcony of our room.

This is a gem of a place, with views over the lake to die for. The room and hotel is of an era, but everything is well maintained and it was clean. It was a real shame that I stayed during really awful weather - so the view I had from my balcony was non existent in the evening I arrived. Even in bad weather though, it’s still an incredible spot.

Nothing, all was very good and very professional staff.

Everything surpassed our expectations: staff super friendly, hotel clean and beautiful, amazing view to the mountains, room bigger than expected, good breakfast. We even got baby items although we did not requested them.

Everything was good.

Location, room size, view, cleanliness, friendly staff, quiet, balcony, very good windows, solid and soundproof door to the room. Breakfast selection and quality of food and drinks decent. OJ was really an OJ and not counted water with too much sugar (nowadays quite rare).

Nothing to criticise really. Room for suggestions though: A main light in the room would be handy.

We stayed just for one night but everything was great - friendly staff, beautiful location, spacious room. Everything we needed was there.

The view was nice. I was surprised at how nice the sauna was! It was exactly what one needs after a day in the snow. The hotel is not the newest but has a lot of charm. I recommend to everyone who stops by.

Nice view, excellent, comfy beds. We didn't try the breakfast since we thought it was a bit too expensive for us. It's a bit difficult to get there by public transportation, but if you have a car there's lots and lots of activities around to occupy your time. Also great hiking.

it had an amazing view of the lake and was really clean, and it even had a sauna! unfortunately, we couldn't get to try their restaurant but it seemed to be bustling and really popular! will definitely give it a try next time!

The view overlooking the lake. Just 5 minutes drive to town and 10 minutes walk to the lake side. The room is very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast is ok.

Views were outstanding. Great staff service. Well stocked breakfast. Clean facilities all around. Good communication before checking in. Great coffee in the room.This is my second stay here. If we come back to the area, this is definitely where we will stay.

I wish the spa facilities were a little more diverse.
