The hotel, staff, location, views, spa an activities. Everything is so well thought out for a comprehensive experience.

Tea and towels were not refreshed.

It was absolutely stunning! Beautiful views, an incredible spa and the best food I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Absolutely sensational.

I loved the wellness, the breakfast, the dinner and the beautiful green forest and medow that surrounds the hotel. The rooms are confortable and clean, the view is amazing from every balcony. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was one of the best hotels I stayed. I definitely will return!

Cleanliness, politeness and understanding. Both my wife and I do not speak German and they treated us with respect.

Room was actually rather small compared to other Hotels in the same price area. The rooms cupboard were too small for the clothes of two people if staying longer, thus we had to keep some stuff in the suitcases

From the moment we checked in, the receptionists friendly and charming demeanour set the tone for the entire day. The facilities are top notch - from the pools to the yoga classes. The salt water alpine dome was a real treat and highly recommended. The breakfast and dinner options were absolutely top class. And most importantly the hotel caters to pregnant ladies which made life so easy and enjoyable for my partner

A very attractive, low-key yet well-designed and well-run hotel in perfect seclusion. Excellent breakfast and dinner on the spacious terrace, a welcoming pool and a relaxing massage at the SPA. Very attentive staff; helped us with a last-minute e-Bike rental (also great). Easy parking, short distances everywhere. Bonus point: The Alphorn musician in the evening!

There are only minor points about some buffet options and the temperature in the (smaller) dining room to be mentioned.

Truly a beautiful hideaway.. very stylish hotel with fantastic helpful staff! The spa area has a complete offering and all brand new in appearance! 1st class.. The surrounding countryside is stunning.. highly recommend this hotel. Martin on reception was very helpful and Alexandra in the restaurant had us laughing and so nice ..Food was just the best they did a BBQ our evening the terrace has wonderful views. Hopefully return one day!

omg! What an experience! the spa was amazing, unfortunatelly it was just till 8pm. The dinner was - I am speechless. The staff were so nice and helpfull. The room was really nice and cleam. The hotel was really calm. And the breakfast? Just wow!

Quality of food rather mediocre, Thursday buffet very crowded and in general poor quality and variety of food ( not only Thursday unfortunately), far from the standard expected in similar hotels of similar price.. All the rest great but food was really disappointing.

it’s quiet amazing. you can see that everything was thought of. every detail in the hotel is great. the food is amazing and the staff are friendly and very helpful. there are a lot of tracks and trips around for hiking and bikes. the hotel even rents the bikes (electric). it was defiantly one of the best hotels I have been in (and I travel a lot). it has a home atmosphere to it. Cozy and warm.

Absolutely loved our short stay at Klosterhof. We had a suite (family of 4 plus dog) which was essentially a bedroom with a living room where the sofa bed was for the kids (12 year old twins). We had a balcony with stunning views of the Alps. The spa area was delightful and the pools a nice bonus. The food was amazing. We loved exploring and walked to Bad Reichenhall and got the cable car to Predigtstuhl. Not a fan of heights but views at the top were amazing. We ate at the restaurant there and it was delicious. We also drove to a car park (about 30 mins) where there is a cable car to the top of Untersberg. Even more breathtaking views! My daughter and I had our walking shoes and poles and walked down Reitstag. It had a very steep gradient and was hard on the legs. Took us nearly 4 hours. I wouldn't do it again as apart from the first hour when you're looking down on to Salzburg you spend most of the walk under the canopy of the forest and we literally saw noone so it was dark and a little bit uninspiring. It's very close to Salzburg which we had stayed in previous to our stay at Klosterhof. Lovely city full of charm and history (and plenty of Sound of Music gems).

Unfortunately due to the way Booking.com had this property listed, we booked the suite plus a double room as the suite only said suitable for three. On arrival it was clear the sofa bed was fine for my children. However the hotel would not refund us the room which we left untouched for the duration of our stay. It was a disappointing and expensive error which I will be taking up with Booking.com. Whilst the majority of staff were super friendly and really engaging and chatty there was one lady who was a little bit grumpy and occasionally the restaurant looked short staffed and sadly it showed in a few faces.

basically everything, location, room (piece of art included!), food, friendly staff, wellness. We had a wedding in the area and we decided to extend our stay a bit longer so we started looking for a modern wellness hotel. This was the only one we found in the area and it was definitely the right decision, we will definitely come back again.

This is complaining at a very high level but it would be even bette for the massage experience to have a room with more ambient (lights, darker atmosphere, music) prepared before we entered the room to relax even faster. Besides speakers to play music in the room would top the already amazing panoramic room. the hotel asked for feedback and we shared the same as here, so curious to see if next time we visit they have incorporated it!
