Hotel Greinwald

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Dining at the hotel is excellent, with its restaurant and bakery. We liked the breakfast buffet and especially having coffee and pastries in the afternoon. Dinner features Bavarian specialties and is served until 6:00 pm. We found the whole experience warm and inviting.

Parking is limited to about 10 spaces, so those coming by auto may have to use 2-hour spots before 6:00 pm. We were lucky to find a free space in front of the hotel during our 3-night stay.

The room was large with a great bathroom. The breakfast was excellent with many choices and great coffee. Located in walking distance of many attractions.

Breakfast was good enough. The owners are very friendly and sweet and are very accommodating. They make you feel very comfortable.

The staff has a bad attitude to the customers and the owners. They feel above the client and owner. I had to wait so long for a beer, eventually I asked the owner who brought it immediately. The staff walks back to the kitchen with one glass in their hand and the rest of the tables are left, filled with cutlery, crockery and glassware. They put a lot of pressure on the owners. The food including the cakes is very average and expensive. The cakes don’t taste homemade but fabricated. The potato salad was disappointing. All bought in. It doesn’t taste homemade and fresh. Especially after we had the night before an excellent Gasthof with delicious homemade food, cheaper and value for money accommodation.

Full of character, extremely clean, bedrooms finished to a high standard. Staff were amazing, super efficient and friendly.

Perfect location close to all amenities and transport links. Spacious room, quiet and character full. Excellent European style breakfast choices and great restaurant cafe too. Lift is a bonus for upper floor rooms

We stayed in many hotels during 10 days visit in Germany. This hotel was our most favorite!This hotel was nice and clean. It has elevator so we didn't need to carry our luggage in stairs. We all were happy with our spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is run by a family and they were very nice and helpful. The location is about 30 from Neuschwanstein castle. It worked out nicely for the visit to the castle. The breakfast was good.

I couldn't find an iron in the room. Was not until the next day I found one in the main corridor near the drinks fridge. Would have been nice to have one in the room
