A cozy super place with a few rooms unlike the other crowded hotels. From check-in to check-out all the way through uncomplicated.

Good price. Easy access to the room.

Very tiny sink. No hot Water pot or coffee maker. No bedside table to rest anything. No fridge.

Excellent location, just opposite the Klagenfurt Cathedral (Domkirche), close to the coffee shops, buses and the train station. A lovely, clean place; the checkin went smoothly with a key left in a key locker. Called the reception from the entrance as there was a confusion about my room number and everything was sorted out within a minute! Bathroom was great, lovely soaps, shampoos and towels. Absolutely loved it!

Everything was great!The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great: just at the city centre, quiet, safe, close to the train station...We enjoyed our stay, our walk in the city centre and the Christmas market, and we also liked the Katzen Café nearby.

It took us some minutes to figure out how the key system worked, but we managed!

I stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend and loved it. The check in was easy, we got our key immediately and could even check in early. The staff were helpful and very friendly. We will definitely come back.

A bit noisy - doors do not insulate against noise

Great location! With a good size room and ensuite bathroom with a hairdryer and a small bottle of showergel/shampoo combo. Plenty of storage with desk, side tables luggage rack and hooks with coat hangers. It was easy to get in touch with the hotel via booking.com messaging (as there is no reception - just something to note). They were doing renovation work at the time which can be off putting to some guests.

Door lock was difficult to figure out initially. My main issue was the noise from the corridor/stairwell/main entrance. My room was near the stairwell which I thought may have foot flow but it was as if my door was open with how loud it was, people constantly walking past, chatting or opening and closing doors, making phones calls etc. I noticed my door had a sizable gap underneath, which could have contributed to the noise levels. It was really off-putting and frustrating. Luckily, it was quiet at night. Otherwise, I would have had to ask to move rooms.

Location is great, it looks like it must have been a cute hotel in it's glory days which are clearly over.

Pictures and room description do not match the accommodation at all; beware there is no option for breakfast. Those breakfast pictures are from the past, the breakfast area is closed. There are no queen beds! The pictures and description suggest queen beds, but in reality they have 2 single beds poorly pushed together, not even a 2 person topper. Absolutely unsuitable for a romantic stay.They have tables and chairs next to each room, which is cute, wasn't it for the ashtrays and people smoking, with the fumes going straight into other rooms.No way to air out the bathroom either, so after showering the whole room is very damp. Open up the window? Enjoy smoker fumes. Have a great stay!Want to bring your dog? It's dog friendly! Only for chihuahua sized dogs apparently... our mid sized (45CM height) was apparently a "large dog" and warranted a comment about that size normally not being allowed.

The room was fine.

We were woken up by members of staff smoking and drinking coffee in front of our room, before being told „today there is no breakfast“ with no apology or explanation. This was a problem, since were going hiking all day.

The host was so friendly and helpful. She gave us excellent dinner suggestions! The breakfast was fabulous - beautifully displayed and some unique treats! Beautiful hotel, great wi-fi.

Excellent breakfast, large and comfortable bed. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The wifi was very slow, streaming impossible and checking email took a long time.

- some rooms are in need of renovation- windows of some rooms look to the “inside” of the building, resp. into a tiny courtyard where other guests can see right into your room (these rooms are dark and also kind of noisy).- no elevator (should be mentioned on booking.com!), steep stairsI would strongly advise to check whether one has a room with a “normal” window. May be only the “double rooms for single use” are with “windows” turning “inside”; it seems to be really better to take just a double room. Just as info: the “hotel” is as far as its facilities are concerned more a B&B.

The hotel's social areas correspond to the photograph. Breakfast is very good and the person working it does a wonderful job (can remember customer preferences and is incredibly complimentary). I also liked the convenience regarding check-in, payments, etc.The location of our fourth was also very good. With a small balcony/entrance very charming. The hotel's location is also a highlight of the hotel. Very friendly and welcoming manager.

The hotel bed is the weak point. The bed is very soft and the division between the beds was noticeable. It also lacked a small fridge. The room we had was charming, a little small but very functional. And there are no photos on the booking mentioning double rooms only. The photos shown are of superior rooms and larger than ours. In my opinion, if the bed wasn't so soft and the division between the beds isn't noticeable, the size of the room doesn't make much difference. And it would include a minibar since the reception is open until 6 pm.

The hotel is located centrally, right opposite the main cathedral. I was contacted a day in advance and asked about my checkin hours. Since the reception is staffed until 1800 hours - and my arrival was after, I was informed that I would have to self-checkin with all the instructions needed for a safe check-in. The safebox was easy to find, the instructions were simple and to the point. The room was clean and well-equipped (wardrobe, desk, comfortable single bed, blinds + black-out curtains, fan - vital in summer!) It was quiet and peaceful + city centre, restaurants, public transport, the train station and supermarket are all within walking distance. The breakfast spread (egg to order, breads, butter, honey, yogurt, muesli, fruit, coffee, juice) was included in the price and kept me feeling full until much later in the day. And since I had plans to walk to and around Wörthersee after checking out, my request to leave my luggage and retrieve it before 1800 hours on the same day was kindly accepted. Heartily recommend this place for the great experience from check in to check out (and after).
