Alpen.Adria.Stadthotel

This hotel for me is top! Not because it is fancy and modern but because it is great value for money. Interior is bit on the older side but it is very clean, the room and bathroom are spacey and bed mattress was excellent. Even breakfast is included, unlike in many hotels where you have to pay extra. And while it is not a super fancy breakfast with million items, you get everything you need, except pastries like croissants, doughnuts etc. All in all I really like the place and if I ever need accommodation in Klagenfurt again, I know where I'll stay.

Nothing to complain about

The staff is friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean and exactly like in the pictures. The hotel is on the old side yes, but it was great value for money. In the night was a bit loud from the people chatting in front of the hotel, other than that had a comfrotable short stay.

Comfortable room for a short stay

No lift: Room on second floor and coming from overseas, suitcases and carry-on luggage

The breakfast was good and the family room is very convenient, spacious with a separate room for the kids and a huge bathroom. Position is also ok, in the top of the hotel, so even if kids are making noise, they won´t bother other guests. Parking in front of the hotel.

Just to notice that all rooms are reachable only by stairs. My old mother was travelling with us and she made it, but just to note it.

wifi was very good and the room was a good size with air conditioning and a strong shower. Room was cleaned daily which was excellent.

Staff were poorly trained although some worked hard. breakfast was not so good. A choice of breads and ham and some cheese but no eggs. a few cereals and the coffee wasnt the best either. I couldnt find a parking space in the guest car park as there was a party happening and there was extensive bridge works going on with diggers working at 5am on a sunday morning. Not happy about that but they got a job to do. When i complained about the lack of parking and asked where i should park the answer was, what can i do about it? Not helpful or polite. I wont be going back there next year.

It is an older hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. Big room with balcony, free parking and decent breakfast. You have a tv, nut no air conditioning, but we kept our balcony door opened and got quite chilly at night.

Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean room. Good breakfast and free parking. Easy access to the city centre. A fine place for a short stay especially if you are arriving by car.

Room as expected but little details spoil it. Bed side light bulb out, no liquid soap in the sink dispenser. Balcony yes, view onto a flat roof and a fence with green mesh on lol.

Breakfastroom on same level as the room itself. Coffeemachine, so the coffee is always fresh.

The location was great, really close to the city centre. Despite the fact that the hotel is being renovated at the moment, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast options were also quite tasty.

The bathroom did not have a good ventilation system. In addition, the beds were not too comfortable.

The young lady on reception was very helpful giving me directions to the town when I arrived.

The staff treated us well. Breakfast was enough to start a new day at work. We traveled for business purposes, so for a one-night stay, it was enough for us, the location is in an area without much road traffic.

Authentic amenities as well as the whole Hotel, back to 70s-80s, great for memories of those times. Hospitable staff, there's a bar inside the Hotel.

Perfectly nice breakfast (better than I had expected), and good value for money (a Saturday in August)….

Not a real complaint but there was no bathplug (although I suppose one could have taken the basin-plug and tried that in the bath ?).

Located in the center but not very busy area, apart from the railway tracks nearby. Hotel is quite old and that applies to everything. Small room with balcony is enough to sleep one night, free parking. The main advantage is the nice girl at the bar/reception.

There is no elevator, the air conditioning is old and does not cool at all, the WiFi works very poorly. There is no space in a miniature bathroom. Breakfasts are very poor - cheese, ham, yogurt and that's it. Disgusting "coffee", tastes like instant 2in1. Cash only at the bar.
