Great location - right on the lake, center of town. Easy access from parking garage directly below hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The weather was hot, and there's no aircondition, so you had to keep the balcony door wide open while there was constant noise of the happening across the hotel.

Too hot in the room eventhough this was in spring. Streetview room had too much noise in the morning, for work it was ok but for vacation not nice to be awake due to supermarket delivery at 6:00 every morning.

Breakfest was the best thing in our stay in hotel, nice space, good choices of food, squesed juices., avicado, salmon..Room was good with nice view

The name of hotel - h. Esplanade. Is not adequate for the that place; it is 10,11 rooms on the second floor in a building with other purposes, with nice restaurant for breakfestWe needed a lot of help to even find the entrance, not mentioning that the reception was not working at 4 pm

The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options, including vegetables, fruits, and sweets, providing everything you could want for a satisfying meal.

The hotel is centrally located, but there are two issues to consider. First, the hotel is situated above a supermarket, and guests in rear-facing rooms should be aware that a small parking lot behind the hotel is used by trucks arriving early in the morning to unload goods. This creates significant noise as the supermarket workers move the goods, which can disturb sleep. Second, parking at the hotel costs 14 euros per night. However, you can park on nearby streets for free overnight until 9:00 a.m., and by paying just 1 euro, extend parking until 10:50 a.m.

Stunning view, very clean room and super friendly Stuff

Good location on the shore of the lake. Breakfast food was excellent. Room was spacious.

As the reception desk was not staffed after 3:00 p.m., it felt like a ghost house in the late afternoon and evening hours with no one around. The building was in the middle of some renovation works, as such, some inconveniences in getting in and out.

The hotel is located in the center of the town, next to the Rathaus. Breakfast area is beautiful, you can enjoy both the breakfast (a good one!) and the beautiful view to the Taunsee. The staff is friendly and helpful, Spar is nearby. Tram station and the lake are just hundreds meters away. Check-in and check-out process were fast!

My room had a very bad dim light, it's dark even if you turn all all available lights, which is not environmental-friendly. And it was also hot in the room, there is no aircon or any room temperature control system. So, I had to keep the window opened all the time to have some fresh air and some light in. But there is a construction in the same building and it's very noisy in the morning. So, one has to choose: you either sleep or breathe!

Very good quality breakfast. Very kind staff. The room was pretty big with a comfortable bed and with a wonderfull view of the lake from the window.

It would be great if there was an air conditioning in the room. Fortunately nights were getting colder during our stay but I think it can be a problem in hotter days.A bit weird entrance to the hotel at first impression but it wasn't a problem at all.

Mindblowing view on the Traunsee and the mountains. Perfect location for families, there is a playground just around the corner. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in the center of the town and room was very clean. They even left a chocolate on our pillow.

There is no A/C in the room so we opened the window during the night. Unfortunately at 6AM we heard the delivery trucks arriving to the supermarket under the hotel .

good location to visit the island castle.

the parking is just underground of the hotel, and it is not easy to know that. and difficult to find the way from the parking area to the hotel
