Nothing Wish we spent more time in Gmunden

Best location in town. Excellent home-made breakfast, pretty large.

Although we typically only stay at brand hotels, this was a very positive exception! The owner was super kind and helpful-was expecting us. Service was great! The town was great! And the owner’s recommendation for dinner… was the best meal we’ve had on our trip! Go to Weinstube Spies for the best meal and desert and service!

I had a big allergic reaction in the room as the carpet wasn’t properly clean. Seem like many dust mites there and that’s just disgusting so I left after one night

It is a very quaint location. Well appointed rooms and generous breakfast.

Parking was a bit tricky as the spot was very very tight, but we did it. I thought it was odd that the staff left after everyone was checked in but we didn't have any problems.

The location was good. Room size , comfortable bed & good towels & lighting.

Hotel is kind of dated. I’m used to more modern hotels.

Very squeaky floors. No a/c. Hard to locate the actual building and parking.

All was excellent! The amazing place in the center of Gmunden. Very beautiful historic building. The privat garage. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Great view from the terrace! Friendly staff! Thanks for all! Very tasty breakfast! I recommend this hotel for all who is planning the trip to Gmunden!

Centrally located, functional without unnecessary luxury, yet cozy

Shortage of parking

Location is superb, right in the center. Everything is within walking distance. The room was clean, the host and the staff were very nice. In case you don't speak german, they speak english. There's a private garage for the guests, just enter straight from the main street and ignore the "traffic prohibited" sign (it doesn't apply to the hotel guests).

Very nice owner, hotel is the old, the classic one (in good meaning) with good location (and quiet, despite to close location to city square). Nice place to stay and start visiting Gmunden.

The hotel has an excellent location in the city center and is absolutely charming.We received a very friendly welcome and were always helped politely, quickly and professionally with all questions.Special thanks also to Mr. Krapfenbauer, who arranged us another stay for the following night.

I liked the location although it wasn't easy to find a restaurant that was open - there were a number of fast food vendors. Breakfast was quite good

There was no 24 hour receptionist and access was dependent on residents acting responsibly and shutting the front door when going out. I saw some ignore this. There was no safe deposit box in the room.

The hotel has a very nice location. Free parking is available upon contact reception. The staff was very friendly and tried to satisfy all our requirements. The rooms were clean and fully equipped. The breakfast was tasty. Hotel is located close to the ships pier, cable way and restaurants/cafe.
