Location excellent; staff very helpful; breakfast great. Charming hotel and bed was excellent. Only drawback is the lack of elevator.

Property is located minutes from Place Stanislas and many many restaurants yet was very quiet.We reserved a parking spot which we were personally guided to which we really appreciated. Breakfast was included and very good. Property has been around for almost 500 years but you would never know it as it has been lovingly maintained.

The perfect small hotel: in a fabulous historic house in the old centre of Nancy. Comfortable, spacious room, excellent breakfast, the most helpful and friendly staff. All the joys of Nancys art and architecture within easy reach. We stay in quite a few hotels: this one couldn’t be bettered.

Absolutely nothing. Even the original stone spiral staircase was easier than we had expected.

It was very difficult to get there at the weekend due to route closures. You have to park up as close as possible and then walk to the hotel maybe 200-300 metres to get there.

The property is very unique in a good way . The bones are very old and unique and authentic. It fits the neighbourhood it is in perfectly. Location is very central to the important sites for a first visit to the wonderful city of Nancy . Quiet area and great bed . Room is large and very quiet and the bed is comfortable. . The shower pressure and temp is great. Nice that has a bar fridge. Did not have the breakfast that was extra. The staff were helpful.

The decor is a big dated and worn. The bad tub is a soaker tub. A bit tricky getting in and out of for a shower because so deep . Grab bars would be good. The stairs are tough to get up with heavy suitcases. The door lock is a bit tricky to use.

The property is unique with a small number of exquisite bedrooms in an amazing building. Thestaff were so helpful.

This was one of the best stays. The staff is incredibly friendly, tells you all about the fascinating history of the house you are staying in. The room we had was huge, historical and beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely choose this hotel if we visit Nancy again. It’s more than a standard ‘good hotel’. Highly recommend.

Two years ago we walked past this beautiful building and thought that it would be a magnificent place to stay. This year on our way to the Provence we decided to make that dream real. The hotel did not disappoint. Very welcoming staff and excellent service. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast served at our table with enough options to choose from. Would stay here again.

A wonderful historical building in a fabulous position.

The stairs are difficult when carrying luggage. Would not suit guests with mobility issues.

No wifi in our room! This is not acceptable. Our room was kind of in the attic, but it shouldn't have prevented us from getting wifi. I had to do an important video call in the reception area - far from ideal.

Would have preferred a shower cubicle rather than a bath and a shower but I'm being harsh.

Beautiful quiet elegant hotel in the old city. Staff was exceptionally helpful in getting us to the hotel, which is not easy to navigate since in a pedestrian zone.

It was hard to find...and there was no parking on site.

The hotel is located in the Old town and is at walking distance of within 10 mins to all attractions. There are several restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and excellent breakfast exceeded our expectations.

It was a little challenge to reach the location with the Car and parking is a bit tricky as the hotel is in Old town, which has traffic restrictions however this is only a very little inconvenience and staff provided very detailed directions

A fabulous little hotel in the heart of Nancy old town, just a few minutes’ stroll from Place Stanislas, hundreds of restaurants and beautiful shops. Our room and tall windows and a pretty little en-suite bathroom and WC. Breakfast was excellent. We loved Nancy.

Parking is offered, but at weekends the street is closed to vehicles, so it’s difficult even to drop off luggage. Staff are very helpful though.
