Cit'Hotel La Résidence

relatively close to the main town interests(2km). breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. parking(on street) in the area was good and the private garage if you wanted a secure place to park was nearby(10 euros per night). Small kettle in the room if tea/coffee was required at night. 2 toilets(1 separate) and shower unit was very new and practical. AC was available in the room but wasnt used. small lift to get to floors. Train station is very close(walking distance). beds were comfortable and changed every day as with towels etc.

Room was quite small, and bland. no fridge or cool box. TV very small and just French channels.

Nice little hotel, walking distance from the city center. Breakfast was ok with homemade cakes and a variety of food.

Amazing fresh breakfast. A bit small room, but luxury enough. Well located close to thr city center. Good price/quality.

The electric outlets are not well positioned. The shower is very slippery when you exit because the water drips on the floor tiles. Not the closest to the city center.

The town centre was a comfortable walk from the hotel and a wonderful surprise when you get there.

There wasn't enough parking for us, despite parking being stipulated in our Booking.com search. We had to wait to for the breakfast to arrive as the staff could not keep up with demand.

Easy to reach the city centre

Bathroom not up to standard, toilet badly stained , shower head health hazard so would not use, shower floor dirty, kettle provided but had to use on floor as no socket by table. The room was cold and heating did not work. Breakfast was the worst we had on the whole holiday, lack of choice and did not look healthy.

Very well run hotel with helpful staff. Liked the decoration of my room. Good position for centre without being too close.Good provision for safe storage of bicycle.

Modern room (with airco), friendly staff and location near to town center. They even shifted the breakfast half an hour earlier on my request, great service.

Parking garage about 300m from hotel. Due to road construction works, had to carry my luggage to the garage.

This is a nice little hotel located a little way from the Train Station but within walking distance and also within an easy 15/20 minute walk to the city area. The street is undergoing major restructuring as is many parts of the city which made Taxi access a little difficult. However once completed it will enhance the whole street scene. It was a very quiet room with a nice view and very clean and well serviced. Bathroom was good. Staff were helpful with assisting with a Taxi transfer and this was greatly appreciated. Nancy is a gem of a town and well worth a visit. It is an elegant city with great charm. Luckily it is not overly touristic so you can enjoy the sights with comfort and the food and cafe options are many and plentiful.

Secure off-street parking was appreciated.

Access to hotel was difficult because of roadworks in the streets around the hotel. Neighbourhood was a bit rundown.

Ok but not practical

No dark curtains in the room so you would get all the light from the street No parking , 12 minutes walk from nearest parking unless you find a spot in the neighboring streets but you’ll have to pay during the day…

A bit far from the city centre. Limited choice at breakfast of hot food (eggs...). Pillows were not very comfortable.

Cit'Hotel La Résidence is in excellent location to explore all parts of Nancy by foot. Secure car parking is available in an underground car park around 200m from the hotel & reception provide an access tag. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a fairly good array of options. The location is quiet with garden rooms to the rear, backing onto the gardens other residential gardens. The street out front was in the process of being re-laid, I thinks to 2/3 pedestrian status.

The floors / ceilings are thin & I had elephants in the room above mine. The staff were not un-helpful but in comparison with other hotels I have stayed at in France, perhaps somewhat lacking in friendliness / motivation?

Wished l could have a double bed instead of two singles as a reservation offer. However l booked late so perhaps none were available.

Everything was great. I loved this quaint little hotel and I wouldn't change anything. Very friendly people, lovely room, fantastic shower, nice breakfast, comfortable bed, lovely soft, big towels. I really enjoyed my 2 nights here. Thank you.

Comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. Lift up to the bedrooms. Ideally located for exploring Nancy. Very friendly staff, who helped us in with our luggage. Found a car parking space immediately outside the hotel. Restaurants nearby.
