GINN Apartment-Hotel Stuttgart-Esslingen

The room was very nice and clean.

The door codes were an issue throughout the stay. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. Sometimes an old code worked instead of the code we were supposed to use. The shampoo / conditioner / body wash / etc. were mostly empty and never refilled.

Spacious room and modern amenities. Comfort bed. Easy to access Public transport as Metro & Bus stations are 5 minutes away. Big supermarket below the building. Good internet connection & breakfast served was exceptional.

Property advised parking slot is very tricky and never found. Found one garage behind the building with access to supermarket entrance after circling twice. With luggage, we walked 150 meters to the reach the reception which is corner side of the same building.

For self catering it was very small. Very basic kitchen

A non-German staff approached me while I tried the wrong “self-check-in” at the door. She said in an unfriendly voice: “What are you doing”? Definitely not trained to deal with guests.

Great location, close to supermarket, the train and bus station and town. It was easy to check-in, staff friendly when spoken to. It was great to have a kitchenette in the room with fridge, kettle, small hob, microwave. Good shower, and free toiletries. The main bed in the room was large and comfortable. Windows were great at shutting out noise. Good black out curtains.

Staff ignored you until you worked hard to catch their attention. Floor still had hair and dust on it. No washing up liquid or sponge/cloth provided. Were told the tap water wasn't good to drink so had to buy bottled or queue at the bar for a very slow filter tap. The 3rd bed was a pull out camp bed and extremely uncomfortable. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. It was extremely hot in the rooms and the ability to lower the temperature didn't work at all so we had to have the windows open which was then very noisy all night. The room was "cleaned" after 2 days but that meant emptying the bins only. They also took 2 towels away but only replaced one so we had to ask for another which never happened.

The opportunity to be able to have cooking facilities and the location was perfect. The facility was also very safe and as a solo person, that was very helpful.

The room (floor) was not so clean and the shower was leaking from the hose, so not very good.Also, I was double charged for breakfast and am very very very disappointed about that!

They didn’t clean the room for 3 days! I broke a glass told them to clean the floor, but they didn’t clean it!

The apartment has a little kitchen and is spacious.

The room was absolutely dirty. There was a chocolate wrap on the floor, other people's hair on the bed and there was this big yellow mark on the sheets, like when it's very used sheets. I contacted the staff, sent pictures and was relocated to another room. Although it was a bit better, the issues with the sheets were the same. It was very late, we had driven for 9 hours and all we wanted was to sleep in a clean and comfortable bed.Also there's this open corridor, very weird and dirty. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Perfect location, cleanliness, comfortable rooms

Location was good, very near to esslingen bahnhof.

The room was very congested, not just because of size, but too much of stuff to tick the check list.Didn't have much control over the air conditioner , when its 35 degrees outside, it was not at all sufficient .

the location

we are a couple who was looking for accommodation for 2-3 months in Esslingen. Thankfully, we only booked here for 1 week ( thursday to Thursday) to start. My husband has sciatica problems and the bed in Room 217 was so soft, he was in pain. We told the receptionist who informed the manager. We were told that all the beds were the same, so they didn't let us look or try another room. We all know that beds can be different in hotel rooms depending on many factors!!! Plus there were constantly smokers on the "durchgang" outside our room! We booked a second apartment somewhere else on Saturday ( Keilmeyers Ferienwohnungs on Marktplatz) and stayed there for the rest of that week. We left some things at the Ginn hotel until the check-out date, because we didn't want the hotel to rent out the room again, since we had already paid for it. We also found great long term accommodation at Mavo Hotel, very close to Ginn.We strongly recommend against this hotel for anyone staying here for a long term stay...maybe a day or two might be ok!!!

Great hotel for this price.Perfect location for the ones who want to discover the old town.Clean room, with everything you may need to stay a couple of days.The only thing is that if you need some water, you have to run to the lobby. I'd prefer to have a bottle in the room.

This is my second stay at this hotel in the last 3 months. Cleanliness, transportation, central location, heating were all absolutely very good. All the necessary products were available in the bathroom, bed linen and pillows were clean.There is a TV that connects to certain applications.There is a large market under the building, ideal for preparing something practical in the kitchen. The kitchen utensils are also enough to prepare practical meals, but if you want to prepare more than one meal, it will be incomplete. There was a small pot with a lid and a pan in the room. The ventilation system above the stove was perfectly adequate.

The property was very convenient as we were visiting family near by . It was lovely to have a clean towels and bed changed during our stay .

We stayed in the standard room which was very compact. Probably a little too compact as moving round the room with two people was difficult. There was no comfortable area to sit other than the bed Not enough storage space , limited hangers , for a couple staying over a week.It would be nice to have larger bath towels. Considering there was a kitchen area there was limited utensils and pots. More glasses would have been good ,wine and a tumbler

Location was perfect. Room is clean, with comfortable bed.

The doors are extremely loud when closing, always woke us up when other guests were coming & going.

The hotel is in a very central location. Transportation was very easy. You can be in the center of Esslingen in 35-40 minutes by bus from the airport.It was very easy to check in to the hotel online. Your process is completed within a few minutes with the link sent via e-mail.The rooms meet the specified criteria. Heating was sufficient. Kitchen equipment was sufficient for cooking.The rooms were newly furnished, modern and functional.You can get your free water from the hotel lounge. The restaurant staff is friendly and very helpful.

The location

It has hard floors int eh entire building, so the noise was a bit louder than is usual and the entry process was not good! I arrived at the building to the door that had a entry key that was strictly in German. I played with using the entry codes given in an email, to no avail. I later walked around the building and FOUND ANOTERH DOOR - THE ONE WHICH WAS INTENEDED TO ENTER IN THE FIRST PLACE. I tried to reference a email that was told to me would be in my inbox after 3 pm...it was not. WHEN I FINALLY FIGURED OUT THE PROCESS, I COULD NOT GET WIFI!!! I finally walked down the road to a T mobile office and was able to get WIFI. The process and WFI coverage should be explained better as the entire process of emails, codes, room codes and entry codes was confusing and frustrating. I also ran into another individual standing at the door and he shared the same concerns.
