The young man who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating,

No elevator to your room. This not mentioned on the website.

We were only there one night and the rooms were fine. What made our stay wonderful was Alex, who was working the desk that week. He put 100%+ into making our group happy by offering rooms in the same building (one at a discount) and heroically driving us when our Uber didn't show up in the morning. Alex is the BEST!!

We arrived to find that the charming French hotel/restaurant that we booked is now a Chinese restaurant ... that was closed for holiday. The information posted on the door was confusing, but we finally found a button to push and someone opened the door. The restaurant was under renovation and a mess. Our 2 rooms were initially located in 2 different buildings 600 meters apart.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. We booked 2 rooms. One room had an issue with a flooded bathroom. Allison arranged a studio apt in another hotel with transportation! A great experience in this hotel.

The location and the restaurant, which has a good ambiance and reasonable food although I have to say it was busy with very slow service as a result.Breakfast was okay.

The room, where to start?Pokey and dark with a terrible smell especially in the bathroom! I think the cleaning staff do reasonable job with very old bedroom in need of a complete refurbishment, not good enough I’m afraid.

Proximity to the station as no taxis appeared to be available the day we arrived. Lovely restaurant attached meant we didn’t have to go looking for dinner. Staff were always helpful and courteous, even rendering first aid to my husband when he cut his arm on a taxi door.

A little difficult to get heavy bags upstairs but staff were very helpful.

For a small town hotel it was an amazing surprise - the reception, dining and bar area have been done out amazingly with an incredible wooden counter and plants hanging from every wall. It was like finding a pleasant island oasis. Alison and family were very hospitable and the food was pretty good too...........we really enjoyed our one night stay en route to a canal barging trip. A definite place to stay over if you need accommodation in the area.

the rooms were basic but nicely made up. the staff was super friendly. food in the restaurant was exceptional and interior of the restaurant very nice. nice cocktails.

The asian restaurant and wine are good. Centrally located and friendly employees. They are service oriented and made sure the booking worked stress free.

Hotel clean but room very small

It was not possible to get breakfast at the hotel.

The location of the hotel

- Room not prepared on arrival at 23.30, the new room provided with a very uncomfortable bed.- room quite small for the price.- No person engaging after false triggering of fire alarm forcing all the guests to wait outside at 8 am.

Nothing. Upon arrival the hotel appeared to be in a complete renovation process. We refused to accept the accommodation and bargained to receive 2/3 of the paid amount back. This hotel should be put out of operation for the renovation period.

The entire lobby and restaurant was in a mess. No place to seat, no place to eat and buckets with paint, etc.

Very friendly and accomodating staff

Too expensive for what it is. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything. The mattress of my bed was either old or too soft such that it wasn't comfortable

It was actually a dump, because they were in the middle of a renovation. But… The owners are the best! The food was delicious, the beers kept coming and the company was great. This is the place to be in Sarrebourg!

Very kind personal offering solutions to everything! For example, Covid-19 caused the taxi companies to shut down in the town so a ride with a family member was organized!All the best for the renovation and upcoming reopening of the hotel!

At the moment we were there , there were renovation works going on at the restaurant. But no problem. The friendly host did us forget al this. They prepared a fantastic vietnames meal for us, I wont forget. So our visit witch looked disapointing at first view, turned out to the best of our journey. The restaurant is a visit worth !!!

Basic and good hotel, but take a meal at Soleil Levant, and you will sleep like a ROSE.
