High Life

The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. They are pleasant and are very available. It feels cared for and they take pride in their care. Even housekeeping and the gardeners are friendly.It is simple and clean and with that bit of extra care, it really can feel like a home away from home. We had to stay for over a week and had lots of special requests. They cheerfully accommodated.The restaurant is well priced and the food is fresh.

More variety in the menu would be great. It would also be nice if there was more lighting on the street outside the property. It’s a bit removed so walking down this residential street at night can feel a bit daunting.You can take a taxi and they will happily book them and bill it to your room though. The swimming area is a bit rocky so wear something on your feet in the water.And there is an area quite near where people go to the beach and some party quite late. But High Life itself is so quiet.

High Life is a wonderful sunny getaway, with great sea views and access. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, and generous with their recommendations for the best local restaurants and sights. Highly recommend!

We have just had a wonderful break at the High Life. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean and fresh with beautiful views of the garden and ocean from the two arm chairs and balcony. Our bed was clean and comfortable (just a bit clanky..but thats being picky). We were made very welcome on arrival by Eugene and were given service with a smile by Anna at mealtimes. We loved our breakfast, with some great menu options,served at the table whilst we watched the boats sailing into the harbour. It was so relaxing sitting in the sheltered pretty garden by the pool. We have stayed in 5 hotels in Kyrenia and the High Life will always be our hotel of choice. Thank you to Husseyn too. We will see you next year!

Spacious clean room. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Air conditioning worked well. Very quiet surroundings. Room was serviced each day. It felt like an adults only hotel which suited us fine for our 3 night stay at High Life Hotel. The staff were lovely and attentive. Breakfast was adequate and is served to you once you have made your choices. Breakfast is served on the veranda of the hotel with a lovely outlook to the calm sea where you can watch the odd swimmer, and the occasional locals fishing.

The bed in the room was up a set of stairs. Not to my liking having to navigate stairs in the middle of the night to go to the loo. Tried the sofa bed downstairs but too uncomfortable. The location (FOR US) was too far out of the main town centre. You can walk there but it’s along busy main road. Need taxi home later though when dark. As of October 2024 the cost of taxi from near the marina was 250 lira which was about £5.60. Set the price with the taxi driver first because when we got out he then increased from the quoted 200 because he said it was the High Life hotel that was further away.

The staff were all lovely and attended our every need. They have a WhatsApp group where you can speak to the staff, order food and a drinks, book Taxis etc, which made everything so easy. Views from the restaurant were amazing.

Well situated for exploring Kyrenia and the surrounding area or just for having a relaxing holiday. The rooms are a generous size and the staff are exceptional.

The only thing I would change would be adding a mug for toothbrushes in the bathroom!!!!

The food was nice, specially the breakfast. Staff were polite, kind and attentive. I enjoyed the cleanliness. The pool was refreshing. But the most authentic experience for me was the snorkeling. If you are going there, have a simple snorkeling device with you. The private beach at your convenience, is a very good spot for snorkeling and enjoy watching fishes and rocks underneath. Very safe and authentic experience.

Lunches had a small room for improvement.

Everything was amazing, location, nice and quiet place where you can fully rest!!!! Food very good very fresh! Stuff was super perfect. We had very good time and for sure will come back!

The staff were extremely helpful, Anna and Victory were there for all your needs. Lovely location off the beaten track to a nice little complex of 20 rooms. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Good choice for breakfast. Clean large rooms, nice bathroom with walk in shower. Nice pool area with sun beds and cushions. Restaurant area had a lovely outlook over the sea and harbour, also steps leading down to two deck areas and steps into the sea.

The only thing that let the rooms down was the furniture, it was a little dated and tired but the beds were very comfortable.

This hotel is a lovely place to relax. It is not new but very well maintained and very clean. The personal is very friendly and takes care of everything.

Keep in mind that the hotel is outside of the city. So during summer at least it is too far to walk. So you need a car or a taxi to get to the city center.

Sunbathing at deck was good. Also enjoying some beers over the cliff was good.Room size was good.Location is close to city if you have a car.

Breakfast... too simple, too overrated, items does not have quality. Charging extra for English and American.Swimming from deck was a roulette. If sea was calm, then fine, if sea was rough, then dangerous. The seabed was a flat rock and seaside was rocky. Stairs leading to see was completely rusty. Thank God, it didn't cut us. Cleaning was moderate. Was expecting a cleaner room after the price tag.One final comment is about room furniture. They definitely need an update as they are old and especially bed was too soft.Always 3 room left at booking.com , probably that is their policy:)Overall, kyrenia has cheaper and better options.

What a lovely little gem High life is, so secluded and relaxing with beautiful views over to Kyrenia Harbour from the dining terrace. Great to watch the sunset while having a scrumptious dinner.The standard of service was excellent and the food was beautiful, the staff could not do enough for you, and always so pleasant and happy.The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Excellent value for money. We were sorry we only had 4 nights, this time. Next year we will definitely be staying longer.Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

The only transportation we could use, was taxi.There wasn’t any store or restaurants around.The breakfast was really disappointing! There were 3 choices and they were all omelette and cucumber! Don’t expect any self service.The taxi they offered us to use never used taxi meter and charged us double! And they were so rude.We choose here because of some good reviews, don’t repeat our mistakes.

The food was good quality and throoms were clean. The sea was amazing and beautiful to swim. Thanks to the lovely helpful staff.

The staff were fabulous. There nothing they couldn't do to make our stay wonderful. And super friendly. Everything was well above what we expected.

If you want to be away from it all the location is perfect. However, if you wanted to go into town, a car or taxi is a must as it is quite a distance, too far to walk.

Very quiet and peaceful place. Clean pool, beautiful garden. We had a room with balcony, with living room and bedroom, and it was very comfortable. Low-key service, live-chat with staff and any request was served very fast. Victory, Sarah, Anna and small lady Beek (if I understood correct her name), Eugene - you do good job guys!In the meantime we would like to pay attention to the following issues:1. Rooms and furniture look a bit tired. Not so well daily cleaning. Bath towels sometimes have not changed few days; 2. Breakfast is not bad, but after a week it’s become a bit monotonous (we stayed 14 days);3. Most of the guests are senior aged. But they can’t go swimming in the sea because of very steep descent to the water.

This property good for old people for rest and quiet place nothing to do only relaxing, sunbath swimming, reading faraway from shopping places if you want to go to center this cost you alot of money I think this place is good only for elder people
