Canyon Cave Hotel

The rooms were clean and neat. The property was in a fine location with a lot of restaurant near by

Hotel is clean. Staff very friendly. The reception assisted us for a tour and transportation. The restaurant staff are very good and cooked a very very good and delicious breakfast.

A little bit far from the city centre.

It was clean and the bed and sheets were comfortable. They provided free bottled/filtered water. Shower had hot water and good water pressure. Staff were kind to provide extra towels when requested. Property was very serene. Free breakfast had quite the spread with fresh eggs prepared to your preference.

If I could give 100 on 10, would give that. Great location. The staff is very nice. They always made us feel very comfortable. Breakfast is superb. The views on the terrace are great. Good restaurants in just 5 min walk. They help in organizing tours as well. Overall would stay only in Canyon Cave when in town.

Breakfast was very nice. Quickly cooked and supplied by staff. Much better than the another cave Hotel we stayed at previously. The room was very large, almost an apartment. Had a full size fridge, cooking area and lounge. It has two TV's one in the bedroom and another in the lounge area. There was Netflix and You Tube availability plus other cable network which was great. The bed was extremely comfortable allowing the best sleep and the bathroom was big with a very large bath /Jacuzzi,. The hotel is right near a main road for vehicle transport and only 8 minutes walk to town

Nothing to dislike. Couldn't find anything to dislike about this hotel Would have loved to stay longer

I had an amazing stay at Canyon Cave! Ürgüp is one of my favorite cities, and staying here made it even more special. The view from the property is lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic – definitely one of the best! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.Although there’s no AC, the room stays cool and comfortable, so I didn’t miss it at all.

My only small concern was that the room wasn’t cleaned, even though I put the "Please Clean Room" sign up. It wasn’t a big issue for me, but a bit more attention to this detail would have been nice.

Overall, the hotel was excellent. Doga spoke good English and was very helpful in making arrangements for us. The breakfast was excellent, the best meal of my day. Views from the roof were very nice.

There is no fault of the hotel, but the walk into town ,especially the uphill return, can be challenging.

I loved the staff’s they were so friendly and willing to help me with any questions or information I needed. The room was very clean and ready in time ,Breakfast was delicious.I would definitely go back to canyon cave hotel it was wonderful.

I loved the view

The location overlooking the valley is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, and everyone in the staff is extremely courteous, friendly and helpful - all our tours were easily sorted out and booked. The breakfast is delicious and the terraces are great for enjoying a wine or a chat. 20/10

That we couldn't stay longer

The room size was good, the location was 10-15 mins walk to the centre of Urguo via some pretty steep roads. The room comes with a nice bathtub. If you don’t mind sleeping in the heat, it’s a good place to stay.

Our room had no AC, even though AC was advertised. When we asked to change rooms, the staff informed us none of the rooms has AC. On booking.com every room had AC listed. It felt very dishonest. We slept in a hot room every night and had difficulty sleeping.We also thought the breakfast was lacking, and ended up eating breakfast elsewhere on most days.It’s not a real cave hotel, just a regular hotel with the walls plastered - but it does look nice.

Great hotel with outstanding views on Ürgüp and surroundings from the nice terrace. This hotel has a lot of character! The cave rooms have a fantastic atmosphere and are super comfortable with great bathrooms. It is a very quiet place where you can relax after a busy day and still feel the amazing Cappadocia ambiance.

The reception and breakfast staff were exceptional as was the individualy served breakfast-the mememen was the best we had in Turkey.The bathroom was huge and the large spa bath was spotless.

The staff are very nice and professional. They even let me checked in early (took a night bus from Denizli). The room was huge and I especially loved the bathroom and jacuzzi. Breakfast was also a lovely spread of local mezze

No aircon but they can give a fan

We had the room with the swimming pool - it is lovely and we enjoyed the pool, but initially the temperature was cold (this was then fixed) - the main issue was the humidity in the room caused by the pool. It was bad and the dehumidifier didn’t really help. We kept the windows open a lot. If the hotel can work out how to fix that then it’ll be 10/10 :)

The bespoke service from the hotel owner and staff are unbeatable. The owner really took time to give us the best recommendations and personally called tour companies to give us the best deals and options for tours especially for the hot air balloon. The overall value for money is awesome. Our experience in Cappadocia has been really great thanks to this simple decision to stay at canyon cave hotel.

Nothing in particular. It could be better to have a proper wardrobe in the room.

A perfect place, full of good energy, the place is always clean and tidy, service beyond anything, the owner of the hotel is a charming person full of goodness, he gave us the best service we received

Cannot recommend highly enough. The rooms were stunning, and the owner and his family were kind, helpful and engaging. They couldn't do enough to help us organise a fantastic trip in Cappadocia, recommending us adventures, restaurants and trips. They sat with us and explained the history of the region, and were simply wonderful hosts. The cave rooms are beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and had an excellent jacuzzi bath. The beds were comfy and large, whilst the courtyard in the hotel was a wonderful place to sit and read. Breakfast was a feast of turkish breakfast staples, and eggs made freshly to order every day.

The hotel is amazing with a very nice location and view. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean. The breakfast is perfect. I wished that I have time to stay more.
