Elif Stone House

It's a cozy and well located family-run hotel with a nice pool, which is very rare in Cappadocia. Friendly staff is always ready to accommodate your needs.

Please remember that Turkiye is a tea-drinking country, and they serve you tea at breakfast by default. If you are a coffielover, tell them for it.

It was a wonderful stay at Elif Hotel. Clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was exceptional. It's a home like feeling.

The room is clean and every facility is nice. The baby golden retriever is really cute. The only disadvantage is the heating. It was too cold for the first night.

The staff are very kind. Helped to arrange a private tour for us. We arrived in snowy weather but the accommodation was cozy and comfortable. Loved the beautiful decor. Very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was lovely.

Nothing everything was great!

The property was very clean, comfortable and pretty.

We stayed in this hotel for a few days. Upon arrival we were surprised by the large clean swimming pool that was present. The staff was very nice and helpful. Especially the ladies in the kitchen. We also met the owners and they were very nice. We had car trouble and the owner just came to help us. The breakfast was also very tasty and extensive. We will definitely come back.

Clean rooms, friendly service and very good breakfast! The building has lots of charm and is very close to the finest restaurants in Urgup! You can easily park a car!

It’s quite a climb getting back from town, but no need: the city’s best restaurants are nearby! Check the status of the pool! Mid may it was getting warmer and warmer but the pool was far from summer-ready (June they promised).

Everything - staff was very very kind in behaviour, courtesy, respect, professionalism, helping hand etc. They were very kind and always available for help and support. B/f was also very good - kind to arrange parcel as well considering our morning flight.

The room didn't had any fan or AC and at the time, it becomes bit hot. Also on ground floor, you cannot keep balcony open for fresh air - if something can be done on this.

The location was good , it was close to the town .

The room was not cleaned, very dusty, the room towels were smelling very badly ?, the staff did not know a word of English. These types of places should have multi-language support.

Very beautiful building, inside and out. The husband and wife who run the hotel are very kind and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and i loved the heated bathroom floors. I was able to wander down the road before sunrise and find a cool spot overlooking the hot air balloons taking off.

if you walk to a restaurant or other places in town, the walk back up to the hotel is a climb ?

Location is great, the outdoor facilities might be good in the summer, but on 12th October it wasnt

They didn't make it clear that the outdoor pool is closed and looks like a green swamp, the pool was a major decision factor in choosing this accomodation. The rooms did not have tissue paper, the sink in the shower is small and water doesnt flow, overfloods easily, the suction fans in the bathroom wasn't working, so the smell was stuck. Staff barely spoke English and didn't even help on the suction fan when we complained. And Finally the Wifi is SO bad and slow.

Wifi was a bit slow at times, but hotel had few wifies, maybe others were better, we just didn't check

We loved the pool. The atmosphere was very charming and relaxing. The traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious. We like Urgup as a small and beautiful village. The staff always tried to be helpful and were very pleasant.

Just whoever goes in the hottest part of summer know that there is no air conditioning and it is a little warm for sleeping.

Lock of the door and the holder of the shower need to be fix. I informed about them, I think and I hope they will not postpone. If it should be done during my stay for sure they would do but I said they can fix after my stay.

Very nice, authentic, and enjoyable hotel, very nice location, cool pool facilities, the best family room ever, lots of sight seeing to do and most of all nice and kind people at the hotel who always smile ?. As a family of five we have enjoyed our stay and we will be back again! We loved it! Güney

This is a quiet hotel with 6 rooms aprox. It's like a family house. In the city center of Ürgüp. Taxi from here is like 100 liras to Göreme. Bed was comfortable and cosy. Hot water, very hot ?. After the sun is gone, it gets very cold during the night in this time of the year.Tea, water, fridge, kettle are provided and extra heater if it's needed.

I miss more English speaking staff however this is something common in Turkey. Nothing the translator can't fix.The balloons flying in the morning cannot be seen from here but I recommend to get a taxi early in the morning (6.30 in this time of the year) and go to Göreme or even the black church to watch them from there.Breakfast. More options and maybe ask the guess to not waste food. I'm not used to have French fries for breakfast but off course I adapt to the place where I'm. These comments are more tips than complaints about the property. The property itself its perfect. ❤️

Enjoyed nothing

We were 11 people from france and the man at reception stole use 1000 turkish lira with a scheme because we did a quad trip. I really do not recommend ! :(
