Minia Cave Hotel

Big spacious room as pictured! Nice view & balcony. Also parking was easy which was good, staff also very lovely and helpful & despite all the stairs, helped with our bags!

It wasn’t super dirty but also not as clean as other hotels we had been to, so wasn’t great (we tried to use the jacuzzi but all this gunk came out of the jets for example). There’s also like 1000 steps to get to your room (at least for us haha), and wasn’t the most ideal location we learnt - but not far from main areas!

Great view and great service. I arranged the tours and everything was great!

Please improve the bedding and pillows

Very comfortable and clean. The cleanest hotel I experienced during my entire holiday in Turkiye. Hoovered and mopped daily, water and a fridge provided. Beds were comfortable. Location was a bit far from attractions, but most companies provided a shuttle service to pick you up from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Very quiet and peaceful location. Best room was the pink room! Would love to stay there again if I return to Cappadocia.

Booking.com stated that we were entitled to late check-out as part of the Genius Level 3 Perks. However, we were told to check out at 12. The breakfast area should have food covers as part of hygiene standards to prevent flies entering the food as it's quite a humid location.

Nice building and room, but some facilities were rather old. The breakfast was very good.

The location is far away from Goreme where most the activities are organized. The taxi becomes expensive especially if organized by the hotel. Bad to very bad WIFI. It is mostly not connecting. The reconnect you have to pay attention a it does not log in automatically and you have to log in every time. Never ask the reception of the hotel to call a taxi for you. Rather look on the internet and find taxi drivers in Goreme.

Only staff was helpful specially the morning staff. The night staff was trying to rip us off in arranging for Taxi.

Very dim room, flies sitting on breakfast so we couldn't eat breakfast since it was very unhygienic. The room is very hot only 1 fan in the room. Could barely see anything in the room because light was so dim. Anyone could see inside our room with the way the windows are set up. Not a great experience.

The staff were so lovely and kind to us and the room we had with our own private indoor pool was amazing. Such an experience to stay in a cave but we absolutely loved it.

Comfortable beds

It was not a cave hotel at least the room we were in was not in a cave. Curtains did not close fully so we woke up with the sun which I do not mind personally but if you want to sleep a few more hours it is impossible. There is a big difference between the pictures on booking.com and the actual hotel. The room was not very clean. Not optimal place to visit Cappadocia. much better to be in Göreme.

Rooms looked tired, rooms were not cleaned properly, bathrooms and fixtures were old and damp. Bathroom area flooded after showers. Overall poor customer service and poor property - wouldnt stay again at such a place

Beautiful location and setting. Rooms to were unique, clean, spacious and comfortable

Ridiculous price for a washing. Shower was not the greatest. Hot tub pump did not work

Cosy hotel to stay in

Very friendly, respectful, and helpful staff. Beautiful ambiance. Staff, Fateh and everyone else went above and beyond their duty to make sure we are comfortable and satisfied with our stay.

Hot water was not really hot.Some rooms, we were a group, and furniture were not kept well and not up to the standard, but the staff immediately reacted to our request and changed the rooms.

Unique experience staying in a cave, friendly staff, free parking, beautiful building and gardens.

It is near caves. They were quite supportive with the booking for balloon rides

Location.

Cleaning not satisfactory (multiple sources of dirt in the room); central heating was on in despite being too warm and regardless of our request to turn it off; breakfast of very low quality; bedroom (king suite!) disappointing; staff overall unhelpful and in some cases rude.

Location and cave style

Staff were not straight forward with taxi charges and charged us double the usual amount for airport pickup. Upon enquiry we were further lied to saying we were given a premium vehicle. In fact, the taxi we booked ourselves for return was in far better condition than the one hotel sent!!

Very helpful staff that allowed us to do a early check - in and leave our luggage some hours after the check out.

Small issue with the bath that did not allow us to fully use the spa bath.

Very good location . Excellent facilities and we got a good deal .
