    Pros +

    • The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the terrace was just beautiful.
    • Nothing much
    • Beautiful property, full of character. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Staff were all excellent and helpful. Many spots to sit outside with wonderful views. Breakfast at restaurant was delicious! It was peaceful and quiet.

    Cons -

    • The rooms are beautiful and clean but the ceiling in one of our rooms needed to be repaired as some plaster was flaking.
    • I’ve booked a room with a window view, when I arrive they give me underground room with no window and there was a Cockroach on the wall. So when i asked the reception he told me that’s the last room he was laying. And now I am sitting on the terrace there really bad smell.
    • There is no a/c or fan. The weather we had was cool ranging from maybe 7C to 20C. We had to keep our door open for a while at night before going to bed to get it cool enough. We kept window open all night and that did help. Just be aware if you are there during hot weather. One of our rooms was lower and didn’t really get the breeze so it didn’t cool off very well.

A magnificent view from this cave hotel. Gökhan the manager was very helpful. I enjoyed the traditional Turkish style breakfast. The rooms were real cave rooms equipped with a jacuzzi, shower, and had a kettle and extra large bed. It was like a fairytale

Spacious deluxe room, huge bathroom. Very helpful receptionist.

A bit further away from main attractions. Smell of burnt wood/coal everywhere. The room was not cleaned once during our 5 days stay and no change of towels either :(

    7IsabelPosted on: 10-18-2024

The hotel has a great view and the rooms are beautiful. The hotel has a lot of potential and the price value ratio is good.

Unfortunately there were a few things we disliked so that we cannot give full points. The rooms were not well cleaned (floor not mopped, toothpaste stains, handle of shower was unscrewed). In one room the drain smelled badly; even though telling the staff it was not fixed). The staff is very nice but it seemed that they tried to avoid extra work such as breakfast was not possible to have in the outside area. For this price value ratio though and for the nice rooms and view I would book it again.

This hotel is lovely with wonderful spacious rooms. It is situated in front of the castle in beautiful Ortahisar a little way from the more touristy area of Goreme which is only a short bus or taxi ride away.Breakfast is delicious and plentiful and evening meals are available in the restaurant. The staff at the hotel are so kind and I am indebted to them for all their help and support, I can't thank you enough. If I could rate this hotel higher I would.

The shower doors are not made of shatter proof glass, be very careful when handling

Spa bath was fantasticSwimming pool larger than expectedGreat location with amazing viewsVery spacious roomComfortable bedsVery clean facilities everywhere

Breakfast could have been more varied rather than the same thing every dayLimited car parking space near hotelRoom had central heating which we were told was not in operation but was set to 28°C. Upon playing around with the (broken) thermostat, we were able to reduce the temperature and room was cooler once we had requested a fan to the room. AC would have been nice

Wonderful hotel. It's close to a lovely little township which has some great restaurants and bars. The breakfast is massive!!

The breakfast was served later than the opening time which is inconvenient if you want to be out and about before the heat. As a coffee drinker I would have also preferred the option. And some of that delicious fruit!

    9Marie-AurorePosted on: 8-11-2024

Located in a beautiful city, walking distance to restaurants. Big room and comfortable, but a bit hot even in June.

Very steep parking but it is steep everywhere and not their fault! If you are anxious about driving this kind of road like me, park up and walk a little.

    Pleasant

If you want to have a nice holiday dont book this hotel, the pool was filthy and full of chlorine, there isnt much variety of food, the rooms dont get cleaned regularly and they didn’t give us enough towels and all of them had stains. Also they have an overly arrogant chef and staff.

    7HannahPosted on: 7-23-2024

Amazing breakfast. The chef accommodated us with an off menu item when we told him we don't eat meat, which was greatly appreciated. Stunning place. It makes the cons worth it as Cappadocia is so beautiful Room was visually very beautiful

The room was BOILING hot. I mean, uncomfortablly hot. With no air con. We only booked it as we were assured that the rooms are cool, but the room was consistently 29-30° with door and window open and fans on constantly. It was very uncomfortable, and we had to pull the mattresses from the bedroom to the living area just to be able to sleep, as the bedroom seemed to have some kind of heated floor. I would seriously not recommend this hotel to anyone who comes from cooler climates at we almost left due to this. The area is very quiet with little to do after 8pm. Alcohol costs a LOT in this area - beware before ordering!!

Good value for money, beautiful location especially during night for unusual gateway. Not far from Gözeme or, love valley or urgrup (it's in the middle distance). We had car so 10min both ways was not a problem. Gözeme was great location to eat out: more touristy area, but this place was just nice and fitted well our expectations.

Few issues with car park , quickly solved by staff. Long distance from most popular airports (local airports had inconvenient flights). Starved stay pets around Gözeme: seem to have left water and pet food but still fell sorry for them. Apart of it beautiful place highly recommended to visit. Very kind and helpful staff.

We booked at the last minute and were made welcome. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff and manager were lovely.

It was up a lot of stairs which was hard for getting the luggage down.

    10LukasPosted on: 6-23-2024

Very friendly staff. Wonderful view of the trerase. Breakfast was very delicious. I can only recommend this hotel.

    7NataliaPosted on: 6-19-2024

Location is good - calm place with a beautiful view to the castle. The hotel itself was made using natural materials of a good quality.Personnel were nice and helpful

Dirty room, especially hot tub, like nobody cleaned it after previous guests. Towels had grey spots. We lived in a cave room, the peculiarity of which is the lack of ventilation in the bathroom and air conditioning. Because of this, the room was damp and stuffy. To solve the problem, we were offered a fan, but it did not have a top protective cover and we were afraid of getting hurt when using it.Breakfast was disappointing - the food is very heavy, a lot of deep-fried food, three types of fat dough with cheese, one small overcooked omelette for two and a lot of sauces, more than half of which you won’t eat. As a result, it seems that you have a table full of food, but you leave the table hungry and unsatisfied.

The tram at Capp Royal Cave Hotel are very kind and friendly; greeting us like family. The breakfast was a stunning array of delicious foods- breads, fries, eggs, jams, olives and cheeses. The pool was lovely and cool and the sun umbrellas were a welcome addition from last year.

It was very hot in Cappadocia whilst we were there and we definitely needed a fan in our room.

    10AnnaPosted on: 6-2-2024

Amazing, beatiful hotel with breathtaking view. Our room was extraordinary. Staff very kind and helpful. And perfect breakfast. İ recommend the hotel 100%.
