Friendly staff, great food, amazing view, comfortable.
Lovely property. Well maintained gardens and cozy sitting areas throughout the property. Staying here was a beautiful experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Tuba, the property manager.
Wonderful breakfast. Interesting cave rooms. Was cold the first day/night but heat in room wasn't working. Staff brought heater and offered an upgraded room the next day. Didn't like the next room as much. Beautiful facilities overall. Wonderful outdoor patios, sitting areas. Beautiful pool area but pool needed some cleaning and maintenance. Still used. Refreshing after long days. Fire pit in the evening. Restaurant was delicious. Most staff were friendly. Not the management so much. Beautiful location set in small village a short distance from Urgup. Inexpensive. Spent 4 days. Several days spent the afternoon by the pool resting. Staff brought delicious fruit platter to us without our requesting and were available for whatever we might need. Greatly appreciated the wait staff.
Management wasn't friendly. Some barking dogs at night. Cleaner pool.
Great hotel, worth the little extra effort to get to. We (family of 5) stayed in one of the superior family rooms which was great, super comfortable and spacious with everything you need. The room also had a patio area with a picnic table and we could bring food from the breakfast buffet and sit outside and eat which was a great way to start the day. Food was great. The pool was great and a good way to break up the day and escape the heat, though it is small with not many chairs around it, so can fill up. Staff was friendly and helpful.
It’s amazing place, cave hotel rooms are very attractive, hotel staff are extremely helpful, hotel manager help me out for communicating with car rental company, only one thing is it is far away from most of tourist attractions and main town, near total is nothing, but hotel itself is very good
Location is far away
We had an amazing experience throughout our stay. Staff were very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Overall ambiance was magical. Organizations were carried out smoothly.
Very unique and staff were the nicest. Assisted us in all of our activities and made sure we were treated well. Facilities were great for a traditional style hotel
Breakfast was nice. We liked the lovely fresh hot paneer that the ladies made and the freshly prepared eggs. There was a large assortment of items to choose from on the buffet. Also our waiter Hakan was very friendly and gave us excellent service.I really appreciated the manager Burhan's service at helping me retrieve my jacket which I left behind in the hotel closet as he went out of his way to retrieve the jacket and is going to send it to me in the states. Service is very important in the hotel industry and he seemed happy to help also.
I should have paid closer attention to the hotel's location. The hotel is located in a very remote tiny village, Ayvali, very far from everything. There were no other restaurants available to us other than the hotel. There were a couple of restaurants in the village, but they were closed. We would have preferred staying close to the main attractions in Goerme that offered many restaurant choices, views of the fairy chimneys and the hot air balloons as they fly. All though others may prefer this quiet location especially if you have a car.The room we were originally given was large king suite, but dark since it is a cave after all. I was thankful Burhan, the manager on duty readily offered us another room, the Presidental Suite that had more light, windows, and a view of the caves, but it was a bit dusty and the bathroom tub and sink were dirty. All though this hotel offers up hand-crafted motifs and authenticity preserving Turkish culture, it could do with a bit of updating and deep cleaning. The hotel pool looked lovely, but it is not heated so we weren't able to use it. I'm sure guests will find it very comfortable and nice during in just a few more weeks.
We were constantly surrounded by friendly dogs and cats, which brought great joy to the children. When we went out for walks, dogs would accompany us and stay by our side.
Absolutely amazing property. Cool history, great rooms, good food, super nice staff. Lovely place.
This is in a central location but it’s in a town about 15-20 kilometres away from everything. We didn’t realise that when we booked. The hotel was wonderful but the surrounding town is run down. Not a problem if you have a car.
Room was clean, the hotel was well looked after and good facilities!Staff were very welcoming and friendly, thank you so so much for making our stay a wonderful experience for my birthday!Definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed at, and unique, the breakfast was lovely too.
No fault of the hotel, but location. It is quite far (25/30mins) to Goerme, so if you want to do most activities based there. I would advise to rent a car. This gave us flexibility to explore around Cappadocia at any given time. The roads are comfortable to drive on if you are an experienced driver.
The place is even prettier and magical than the photos. The attention and masagges they offer is a experiencie you cant miss. We did a tour with a guide recommended by the hotel and it was an incredible and unforgettable travel. Food is delicious and i cant even describe the beauty of the rooms, every detail is cared for. Overall i would completely recommend this place and will come back as soon as i can.
Got upgraded from family room to king room! Everything was super comfortable. Bed, linen, towels, pillows etc. The staffs were very friendly too. Great facilties and the breakfast options were very good. Recommended!
Unique hotel, Beautiful surroundings, Well-heated interesting rooms, Great breakfast spread,Can help arrange for activities (hot air balloon rides, horse riding, etc.)
The pool was closed, but they didn't inform us (we only found out after arriving). The location, while beautiful, is difficult to access without a car. The staff were nice, but honestly not attentive, certainly not for a 4-star hotel; mostly they stood about smoking with their friends & right in front of the lobby door.
This hotel was great. We got an upgrade and stayed in the Roman King Suite with the bathtub. The room is huge with lovely comfort, nice and warm in the winter, and lots of attention to nice touches and amenities. Plus we took the Balloon tour with them for a great price. Everyone was very friendly at the staff.
The hotel is not in the main Gorme area, which makes it nice and quiet, but it's helpful then to have a car with you. We rented one and there was parking so perfect.
Great cave experience, far from the haunts but a great way to experience the originality, comfortable and cozy, great service and good food. The hotel offers a shuttle to the city, which unfortunately we didn't know about, but it was well worth it in terms of being able to spend more time at the hotel and enjoying the view.
Fantastic historic cave hotel. Beautiful
The wifi did not work very well and it was quite far from town
This turned out to be an excellent choice for our Cappadoccia retreat. Burhan assisted with the bookings and everything. He was super nice. The room I got was the King suite and it was one of the best experiences in terms of service quality and the room itself.
Gamirasu is more than just a fantastic hotel; it's one of the most original, authentic, and enchanting places in the world. With an amazing ambiance, great staff and service, and very comfortable rooms set in a unique cave setting, it offers a wide variety of delicious food in a captivating environment that looks like a movie set.We returned after many years, this time with our kids, and Gamirasu has not lost any of its charm, quality, or service—it has only gotten better. The hotel provides a perfect blend of luxury and tradition. The serene surroundings and the unique architecture create a peaceful retreat and opportunity to unwind in nature.Gamirasu is also a bold statement epitomizing how one person's dream can start a big movement, leading to the creation of cave hotel chains throughout the region and contributing to Cappadocia's popularity as a tourist destination. The hotel's commitment to preserving the local culture and environment is evident in every aspect of its operation, making it a model for sustainable tourism.
