Trip Inn Hotel Blankenburg

The hotel is very close to the center, you can walk to it in a few minutes . The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and very good quality products .

Location, clean, great breakfast.

Lightin in the room all very dim.

Nice bathroom. Very good shower. Cool historic balcony on street side. Big room Tall ceiling.

Public spaces a bit grungy. Room smelled a little stale/old.

Not enough lights. Bathroom was very dark. Shower door was not functioning well.

During the 4 days we spent in this hotel room ,they never cleaned it.And when I asked to clean and change towels, they only threw out the trash from the room but they didn't throw it out of the toilet!

It was awful. It was a flop house for drunks and drug addicts. We didn’t stay.

It was a flop house for drunks and drug addicts. Not at all what was what we saw on Booking.com site. We wanted 3 Star and this wasn’t even 1 Star.

Beds were not initially separated as we required 2 single beds. The staff was nice to separate them and provide additional covers. All the staff was very nice and helpful, specially the person of the night shift and the one who let us one additional hour without paying. The breakfast was very nice and delicious with different options.

Furniture quite old.

The location is central and close to public parking. The breakfast was good. If you are looking for a very good or luxury hotel, this would probably not be the top choice. But it's very good value for the money. Especially with the booking discount. It was what we were looking for for a one evening stay.

I arrived late at night and the gentleman on reception was great and ready for me to arrive. Great location, not far from HBF and other central locations in Karlsruhe. The lady on reception called me a taxi upon request in the morning too. Comfortable room and great value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Location was convenient. Breakfast was nice.

I spent 5 nights here in room 11. Room was dark, as no proper lighting. Only two wall shades were available inside, one on the bed right on top your head, another light above the table. There was one ceiling light at the entrance, but that light was covered by the arch. This was not sufficient. Asked about this from reception, they were not sure either.Bathroom was small, the shower was on one wall, and controller was on the next wall. Simply no space and a small touch always changed the temperature while having a shower.Chair was too tall, so could not sit on the chair and work on the desk. Legs hitting the table.TV was not working as no signal.No water heating/ tea preparation facilities in the room.Overall for the price paid, it’s not worth. For long stay, do not recommend.

The only thing I like is the location!

I don’t like the room, was uncomfortable, bed, sofa, badroom, very noisy from the street, police is they’re every two hours, near by is place full of rubbish(alcoholic and narcotic people).

The hotel staff were very kind. Location is near the city center. Tram station is near hotel as well as shopping center.

This property is in need of complete renovation. When I was sleeping the first night the heating system (radiator) fell of the wall in the middle of the night! You can imagine how this heavy thing made a noise. It woke up the whole hotel. Although they gave me a another room, I just couldn't calm myself down. A lot of homeless people sleeping near the hotel, you just dont feel comfortable walking near them

Everything is great, clean, easy to find, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stay away bed bugs in at least 2 rooms

The hotel had bed bugs !!! I woke up in the night being beaten. I went to reception and he gave me another room saying this room was cleaned by a professional company so it was bed bugs free. After 10 minutes I saw a dozen of them walking around . I was shocked . I asked for refund and sent an email but they never answered to my emails

Old charming building centrally located. The staff was friendly and the whole experience was easy, calm, and uneventful. Large, modern and clean bathroom in the room. The breakfast was nice in a large room with character!

The bed frame was weirdly smaller than the mattress. Nothing important for one person sleeping.

It's a nice historic property but needs some maintenance. We stayed for 1 night. The night receptionist was helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious.

Rooms need maintenance especially the curtains and flooring in some places is slanted. Bed frames were dirty as well.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room. In good location: ~500 mts to city centre. Helpful staff. Generous breakfast.
