    Pros +

    • The staffs is friendly and helpful, close to my work place, has gym room. The room is clean. Close to supermarket, have a lot of parking space.
    • Quiet hotel. Comfy rooms. Good breakfast. All you need from a short stay hotel.
    • The room, except the smell, was OK. Clean on demand is a good thing to prevent waste.Breakfast was good.

    Cons -

    • The smell in the room was bad even we keep window open as much as we can.At breakfast the amount of food was little, a good thing to prevent waste, but no refill.
    • The room smelt of stale smoke - they've obviously made an effort to renovate the place but getting the smell from a smoking past out of the walls and ceiling is very difficult.
    • We used the wrong “please make up room” sign, so they didn’t make up our room. Towels stayed on the dirty floor for 2 days. The correct ones say the same: “make up room” but in green ideology. It’s beyond ridiculous. Why are the old signs still in the room? Why weren’t we informed? Travelers who arrive late at night and often spend the whole day outside do not want to study every corner of the room. When I complained about this to receptionist Mattis he arrogantly laughed at me. Instead of kindly apologizing for this extremely bureaucratic mess and handing out a few clean towels, he quickly suggested I should leave the hotel and threatened to call the police. To be fair, at check out the gentleman at the reception was kind.

Lovely hotel, easy to reach location, very quiet, clean and with all the comforts.

I was very impressed with the fitness facilities, nice a modern and free to use. The hotel has had a renovation recently, but one can't hide that it's an older building. Despite a sign indicating the parking was charged for I wasn't charged for parking.

The room smelt of stale smoke - they've obviously made an effort to renovate the place but getting the smell from a smoking past out of the walls and ceiling is very difficult.

    Clean and newly renovated rooms.

Not too many outside parking spots available. The building itself is pretty old; only one elevator serving the building.

The amenities and facilities of the hotel was what I liked the most. I was only expecting something basic but this hotel exceeded my expectations. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. The room was air conditioned, which was very much welcome considering other hotels didn’t and that it’s summer now. Next door is a grocery store where you can top up but the hotel also offered free coffee/tea facilities at their dining area. They also provided complimentary water, which was a bonus as you get charged at other hotels. You can also avail of a buffet breakfast. The hotel has its own parking spaces which I must say was very spacious. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Not close to public transport

Breakfast was excelent. Good place to stay overnight, easy check-in.

    10EsumPosted on: 8-13-2024

The bonus was the mini kitchen and space in the room.

Parking was tight at the front of the building.

Was perfect as a stopover on my way from Amsterdam to Piemonte.Could charge or electrical car in the parking (there are two chargers there). Also, breakfast was good. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Would definitely recommend.

Really clean, nice and helpful team, underground parking option for 12 euro per day (parking outside is free afaik). 2 big supermarkets next door. Not so close to the centre but there were enough places to dine around. Good internet.

    Everything was good

Nothing much to like about it. Breakfast (the only meal they provide) was OK. It was inexpensive.

No evening meals available and nothing much in the vicinity for those without a car. There are two Plaza Inn in the North of Karlsruhe and I really needed to be in the other one, and thought this was the one near my client’s office. Apparently many have made the same mistake..

    8DavidePosted on: 6-21-2024

the breakfast is good. The rooms are nice and clean. the toilet is sufficiently large. It's the second time I've been in the hotel and they kept the quality to a good level.

The price is a bit high for one one-night stay. the curtains cannot prevent fully the light from entering the room in the morning, and if you are very sensitive to light you may wake up due to the sun.

    8VegardPosted on: 6-7-2024

The people at the reception were very friendlly and accomodating. The room was big, and bed was good. All in all an OK stay.

Breakfast could have had more choice, like yoghurt and fruit. Maybe some pancakes. The airco was a bit noisy and didn’t cool the room very much. It was not super-important since it was not that hot outside at night, but maybe a bigger problem in the middle of the summer.Room was quite expensive, like €180 per night.

    8DanaPosted on: 5-18-2024

We stayed for 1 night only (while driving across Europe). There is nothing in the area and this hotel is probably only suitable for a quick stop. The beds were large and comfy. The room was clean and quiet. We parked for free just outside the hotel (or you can pay 12 Euro to park in their garage).

The location is far from the city centre - if you plan to visit Karlsruhe, nothing to do near the hotel.
