It was smell of old building inside of room… and clean level was 50/50. Hair in bathroom and fresh lingerie, but with some dirty points on it

This hotel is perfect: Reasonably-priced with a good breakfast buffet that goes to 1030 on weekends(!); easy to find central location one block from the main shopping street and a 20-minute walk to the Schloss and its Museum and Gartens and to the big ZKM art complex, cinema and city gallery; cheap parking options on site either directly on the street or in their hof; quiet residential neighborhood with various restaurant options nearby; lots of hot, hot water in the shower; and nice decor in the room and public areas.

There is nothing to object to at this hotel. It was our second stay and we will be back!

A great hotel in the city centre, clean, quiet, good service, very friendly staff.

I used the late-night check-in kiosk, which worked well. The location is great, very close to the city center and to public transport. The breakfast was also very good.

We stayed in Karlsruhe because it was close to Bad Bagszebern and Durenbach where we were doing family research. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable. Actually everyone that we came across in Karlsruhe was friendly and willing to translate when necessary. We will be back!

We were fortunate that the weather was nice. If it had been hot, we would have been uncomfortable as our room did not have air conditioning.

Our room was clean, spacious and quiet (looking at the indoor courtyard). The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and the staff was friendly. All in one, we had a good stay!

It‘s located right in the middle of town, you can walk everywhere and on weekends parking is free.The rooms are simple but clean. Check in is easy and you could also have breakfast there which I haven’t tried.

It‘s quite hot in the room during summer. There is no airconditioning and it could overall use some upgrades. Maybe remove the old carpets just to give it a more modern clean look

Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the people attending the breakfast.Everything is super clean.Breakfast is OK and the coffee is good, although there is no much variety, so if you stay several days I guess it could be repetitive.In general, it's a small confy hotel, with no luxuries but everything that you may need.

There is no air-con in the room and the sun goes straight to the windows the whole afternoon, so I would not recommended it for the summer if it's expected to be hot.The wifi signal in the room was super low and it makes difficult to work.It seems that at least in the weekend there is no one in reception in the early morning. Fortunately, the rest of the staff is super helpful and give assistance if needed.

Central location, clean, price was ok.

The locker didn't work (empty batteries) and the room was not soundproof at all. You could hear everything from upstairs and the hallway
