Holiday Inn Express Karlsruhe - City Park By IHG

Nice location

Business center

Convenience to the highway and reasonably close to very nice town centre. Great breakfast, excellent staff.

The one soft, I firm bed concept.

Staff were helpful (particularly a young Colombian woman in the restaurant), the room was spotless and the wifi was good.

It was a bit of a walk from town and there was no transit nearby.

modern, clean and nice staff. The location is not close to the center (sort of at the edge of the city) which was good for our purpose because we used this hotel as a base for hiking day trips.

considering the value, it met all my expectations and even was better than my experience from other 3star chain hotel

Unfortunately, this property did not meet the standards I associate with the Holiday Inn brand. It felt more like a basic roadside budget motel than a reputable hotel chain. The breakfast offering was very poor and lacked variety and quality. Overall, it seemed like the hotel was being run on a tight budget, with minimal attention to guest comfort or experience. It gave the impression that the priority is simply keeping the doors open, rather than providing the level of service and hospitality expected from Holiday Inn.

Superb

Heating is not working. We have tried everything. At the end i ended up sleeping with my socks and hoodie ?

Polite personal, clean rooms. Price policy.

Add more hot dishes to breakfast.

New, clean, pricing

Air conditioning in the room made loud noise and the ventilation system outside drove me nuts during the night

The room was really nice and clean , warm water and the breakfast was nice.

The room was too cold and I couldn’t regulate the temperature.

Clean New - Room 214 excellent- several windows!!

Lift floor was dirty and sticky

Room was good, modern, well lit. Bathroom was really nice.

Bathroom was nice, but there was hair in the shower and in the sink… also the way the shower was water splashed all over the bathroom.

Its convenient location makes it an ideal place to rest overnight before continuing on your way. Offers an extensive breakfast. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. And they also didn't charge any parking fee.

nothing to complain about.

Staff was very flexible. We arrived past midnight, all ok. Late check-out time. Breakfast.

Key did not work after 11 hrs (but helped well by staff to find a solution).

The reception staff is so kind and friendly. Check-in process is doing very well and details.

Room is a bit small.

Great hotel and great staff. We travelled through Europe and needed a place to stop and rest, booked it half an hour before arrival. Was met with the nice receptionist and she sorted us a cot bed for our boy straight away. We only stayed there 1 night and arrived late so used the hotel just to sleep. Had breakfast in the morning which was great, had a lot of variety for everyone, definitely recommend.

Hotel parking at a charge, feel the parking could have been free for hotel guests .

Staff very helpful and kind.

The breakfast was "meh". This is the reason of not giving the maximum score to "value for money".

Staff was very friendly, very clean room. Great location and easy parking in front of the building.

Room was very hot and airconditioning was not working. Breakfast wasn’t the best, especially the eggs were very greasy.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The rom was clean. Breakfast was good. Close to all types of public transport.

We had a minor incident where the cleaning staff knocked on the door and without waiting opened the door with their own keys. I was in the bathroom and when you open the rom door you can see straight in the bathroom. This is inappropriate for to many reasons to try to list them all here. It happened at around 8.30 AM which was way before check out time(12.00)Needs some improvement in routines to avoid this type of situation in the future.

Poor

Vomitstains on the carpet. Bad smell in the room. Inexperienced staff

Nice location, free parking, close to the city center, nice breakfast
