    Pros +

    • Basic, but everything you need for an overnight stay. Great breakfast. Close to the gare.
    • Location, price, personnel, breakfast.
    • Easy check-in, good rooms and comfy beds

    Cons -

    • We were able to charge our car overnight, but in the morning we saw that we had to pay almost €28 on overstay charges (plugged in, but not charging). Something that one would not expect from hotel chargers. Please mention this when checking in, or put up a sign!
    • We reserved through booking and during after hour check-in it says you will receive the room code via e-mail. This does not happen because it looks like the mail goes to booking. The code also appears on screen if you choose to view it. If you skip this step you will wait forever for the code to your room so keep that in mind.
    • Hated the check in process after hours at 10pm... we didn't know where to go- couldn't find the entrance- parking lot- no instructions. Very difficult dealing with a senior with mobility challenges. It took a long time and was very inconvenient. We also thought the single beds were ridiculous.... not even standard twin size. Aside from the great breakfast staff and nice breakfast, there is nothing I could recommend. I would pay more to stay somewhere else. Check in and no place to walk in directly was not ok. Especially since there is no mention of this.

Clean hotel room although a little small. Breakfast was fine. Very quiet during the night even though we were near the station and next to a road.

Very close to the train station. Breakfast was very good

Not very close to the city center

Bright and airy rooms. Excellent shower. Breakfast was spot on. Parking was easy under the hotel. Superb sound proofing which allowed for a quiet night despite the major road close to the hotel

No in room coffee/tea making facilities.

    Pleasant

The room was filled with cigarette odor. We had to sleep with the window open and listen the street noise all the night. Otherwise the hotel itself and the room was clean.

    8KatarzynaPosted on: 4-17-2025

    Easy to find

There was no place left in the hotel parking and we had ants in bed

Unfortunately, the air conditioning control was not in the room, nor was the central air conditioning system control working, for this reason the stay was not the best as it was very hot in the room, the water pressure was weak and the shower was a negative point.

    Good

A bit price rooms compared to what’s available in German cities. The automatic check in takes lots of time, if you arrive after a family that uses many rooms and travel with a family of your own with multiple rooms = make sure you reserve enough time

    Efficient and clean staff

Someone started loud music after midnight, which woke the kids and was like being at a nightclub

    8JavierPosted on: 1-27-2025

Check in and out very very quick

Parking was very difficult to find and was loud

    8ZakariaPosted on: 12-26-2024

    Fine for a business trip

Maybe it's just my experience, but I had to wait for a very long time at the reception just to buy the breakfast option, I think they are short on people, and the same person is doing so many other things, especially during breakfast time. Hence, they also have auto check-in with machines.

good position , very close to train stationhotel rather simple, clean , good for short stay

    8ZsoltnePosted on: 12-2-2024

I got what I expected based on the hotel profile, iI was there only while sleeping, the room and bathroom was tidy, clean and the bed was very comfortable

Tea or coffee self service in the room

    7KarinPosted on: 11-28-2024

located next to train tracks and between 2 busy roads, it was astonishingly sound proof and quiet.

breakfast person was not exactly welcoming, did not tell me that bread rolls would appear a bit later and in general made me feel like I'd better disappear as quickly as possible.

    9MariaPosted on: 11-11-2024

It was very clean and very well located

    The breakfast was very basic

    9JohnPosted on: 9-24-2024

Great hotel just next to the railway station. It does have an under ground car park accessible from a road behind the hotel which was great for the motorbikes. Short walk into the centre and you can walk through the station as a short cut.

    7NinaPosted on: 9-21-2024

Very near Karlsruhe station and the city is a walkable distance away. The beds were comfortable.

There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom drains, and there was some noise from an adjoining room. I missed a way to boil water for tea.
