Good breakfast. Dinner in the evening was a bit basic.

Dining room was very basic. Tablecloths and napkins would have been appreciated.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent secure bike storage garage. Delicious supper in the hotel restaurant, sitting outside in the sun in their garden. Large comfortable room. Tasty breakfast in the morning

Excellent breakfast. Good location just off B10. Usually try and stay here when travelling to the Alps on our annual skiing trips. There was good communication with the hotel with regard access when reception is not manned. Our hotel of choice in Karlsruhe

I remember on previous stays the vegetarian options in the restaurant were a little more inventive.

We aim to stay there every time on our annual skiing trips to the alps. As I've said on previous reviews, it's our hotel of choice in Karlsruhe. Conveniently located just off the B10, 400 miles (640Km) from Calais. Warm, spacious rooms, an extensive buffet breakfast and a restaurant attached to the hotel. Private parking directly off the access road. Should you arrive when reception is closed ( I think I'm right in saying that they shut at 4pm on weekends) a code is emailed to you so that you can gain access to the hotel and your allocated room.

Easy arrival and departure. Very good communication, fast and useful answers to questions and good solution on late arrival

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had an additional request for our baby, and they really made sure they could help us. Also, the room is very clean and large, the beds were comfortable and the shower was also nice. And the breakfast is good! Not too extensive, but very decent.

One of the rooms was very warm - the window was open the entire night, heating shut down completely, but still warm by morning. The other (single) room had perfect temperature, but was locate directly next to what was something like a central heating unit. Whenever this would turn on, it made noise which was audible in the room.

Clean and close to good restaurant next door. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended

Friendly personnel and warm welocme

It's a seemingly small yet vital part of any hotel stay — the pillow(s). This hotel gives you a single over-sized pillow (on a two person bed). To me personally, this pillow was torturously uncomfortable. I could't figure out how to rest my head on it, and it kept me up almost all night. On a warm summer day, the entire hotel gets very hot. They do have air conditioners in the rooms, but they are very old and have a hard time cooling down the rooms. The food that the restaurant serves is good, but rather expensive for the amount of food you get. For a small to medium sized cordon bleu schnitzel, some fries and a 0,5 liter beer, I paid 28 EUR.

The hotel was great! Nothing bad to report. Except for maybe a curtain in the bath room would be nice. We did not find the food in the restaurant that tasty. It's maybe a German thing (?), but we missed some vegetables with the schnitzel and another option than French fries on the menu.

I love this hotel, I choose it whenever I can ...and as always it was great. Nice rooms with air condition. Amazing breakfast. Very nice and friendly staff. Close to highway so easy to get back on road. But the neighborhood is quiet we can't hear the highway. Big parking.

The staff were very good, the beer garden was fun even in the rain.

Easy reachable from motorway. Nice walking path close by to recover from long journey. Ideal location with a dog.

I was missing a little fridge in the room to call drinks and snacks for next day.

The room had new furniture and bathroom had been completely renovated..Onside food and drink great via the attached bar and outside beer garden.Excellent location for onward travel. Will use again.

The weather,I was looking forward to sitting in the beer garden but had a thunderstorm.Obviously not their fault.So nothing to dislike.

To hot in the room and to much noice (train). Airco available in the room but place on the wrong place, blowing in your face all night which is not convenient.

Bedroom was nice and big, able to fit the whole family 2 adults toddler and baby. Breakfast in the morning was great. Ample parking on premises. Staff were helpful and friendly. The stay was ideal for a one night stop over on our journey.

The room seemed a bit outdated and mismatched, all the furniture was new but the walls needed some attention as they tended to move when lent on as they weren't solid walls. I also was a bit dissapointed as the pictures online did not meet expectations, there were pictures of a park for kids to play on on the premises but once we were there I couldn't see a park. In fact the park we did see was about 100m+ away.

Good sized car park, friendly reception and reasonable restaurant. Bottled water supplied although no tea or coffee.

Close to train tracks if you are susceptible to noise although didn't bother me. Hotel name is located on the end wall which is easily missed driving past.
