    Pros +

    • Your hotel is the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Despite the fact that major construction was happening a short distance away and the hotel is located on one of the main roads passing through Karlsruhe! The staff was always friendly and professional and went above and beyond providing exceptional customer service!
    • Clean and central. We can find a car parking close to the hotel. There was a bar in lobby.
    • Great breakfast. Not so cheap, but very good. Room was fresh and clean. Nice design-hotel feel.

    Cons -

    • We would have liked to have wash clothes in addition to bath towels and hand towels. A small refrigerator in the room would raise your hotel rooms one step higher than it is now.
    • It would be better if there are more toiletries like slippers.
    • The price was very good so it seems unfair to complain abut the size of the room, but it WAS as small as possible! Parking under the hotel is safe but its a public parking lot and first come, first served. When we arrived there were no spaces available. We were on our way to a triathlon and had some tempting bicycles in the car so street parking seemed a bad idea. We wanted to bring them in, but were told bicycles aren't allowed in the rooms which we didn't understand until we saw just how small the rooms are! Luckily, a spot in the garage opened up and it all became a non-issue.

Very clean with everything you need for a short stay. Great breakfast and kind stuff.

    Breakfast a bit too expensive.

a new building at a good location. It is a decent hotel with clean rooms and good service.

Our room was too small. The parking space was limited - so we needed to park another building and walk from there. It was not so bad, not ideal either. The prices were so high due to the ACDC concert at that weekend. However, I realized the room rates went down for last minute booking at that weekend. Of course they did not change our rates - so we paid double price even though we booked months in advance. I find it unfair to have such huge difference on room rates and to take advantage of the high demand due to such events

    cleanliness and location

space (too small), and not having a refrigerator in the room

    Clean, modern and beautiful

Breakfast is very good but expensive

    8SašoPosted on: 4-25-2025

Cleanliness, simplicity of the building, friendly staff

Nothing to complain really, breakfast could be improved s bit (fried eggs, sauted vegetsbles, bacon, pancakes maybe)

    All good

The room was nice, modern and clean, with a comfortable bed. The personel is very friendly and smiling. The lounge is cozy with an easy chill ambiance, and the bar has a great selection of gins.

The breakfast is sub-par and expensive (simple bread rolls, cheese and hams, and no scrambled eggs/sausages/mushrooms or warm foods to order etc).

    9MarkPosted on: 4-12-2025

The bar! Great mojito and very friendly staff.

    9SandroPosted on: 4-8-2025

The room was cozy, large enough, and clean - as typical with MotelOne. The location is good.

The breakfast was good, but the scrambled egg or (soft-)boiled eggs could have been smoother. During breakfast, many tables are very small (as the bar is reused), which makes it difficult to eat.

    8SalomePosted on: 3-26-2025

The staff was attentive and the location was very close to the city center.

The room was in general small and body lotion that usually is among one of the amenities was not available. other than that everything was okay.

    9GigaPosted on: 3-24-2025

The hotel is newly built, very close to the city center and walking distance to main sightings. The breakfast was quite good, the staff friendly.

Once you enter the room the TV is automatically turned on, and you have to turn it off every time. This is a minor issue, but could be changed.

    9GabrielPosted on: 3-16-2025

    Location and friendly staff.

The room was small, but comfortable

    10IvanaPosted on: 3-15-2025

Everything is new. The fireplac fire cracking on TV is quite a nice touch. Good breakfast, although overpriced a bit.

The prices of drinks are a interesting. A bottle of water (0,75 l) is 6 euros. It was a bit of a shock.

    8LindaPosted on: 3-4-2025

Lovely staff, very clean, great location, good value per night.

    Room quite small! Drinks expensive.

    8SamPosted on: 3-3-2025

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfy.

The breakfast was expensive and not very good. Limited offering and no hot food.

    8LeePosted on: 2-22-2025

Lovely lounge, nice decor and good location.

No coffee making facilities in the room, limited resources and cleaner came into my room at 8am - little early, no?
