Location is the main thing about this hotel

Yes, it wasn't very clean, and we didn't have enough towels, we had to ask for it.

The rooms we reserved were comfortable, clean and silent. The hotel has a double window that inhibits sound leaks from the train tracks nearby. Breakfast is quite good and worth the money.

The room are great, very clean and sound proof. The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic just close to the main train station and a tram stop just in front of the hotel

The fact that house keeping passes very early before 8:00h in the morning and they do not leave any hand towel, only a bath towel that is a bit small.

I ordered a standard twin room via booking. But when I entered the room that had been assigned to me, I noticed there was an inner door. When I accidentally checked the door, it turned out that it led to another room belonging to someone else. I immediately raised my concern and requested a change of room. However, in the new room I was given, I was still disturbed by the noise of the trains.

It is close to the station and convenient for travelling to other places by train.

Room although at platform level and overlooking the station was very quiet.Breakfast area was chilled and nice and relaxed with the option of outside seating

Option of secure parking. Our motorcycles felt a bit exposed. However no problems encountered

For me the location was excellent being near by the hauptbahnhof, the friendly environment especially front office ( reception team) and cosy room.

Very close to central train station, close to CBD, good Public Transport, bar with drinks and snacks.

Freezing cold room, awful bathroom, did not feel clean, no decent food or facilities, not even tea or coffee in room.

Great value for a hotel conveniently located near the Hbf. While Ibis rooms have a unique layout that takes some getting used to, this has been my go to hotel in Karlsruhe for easy travel via rail. The Hbf is very close, and local transit is just across from the front entrance. In spite of the location do close to these railway travel options, it is very quiet.

Outlets only on one side of the room - I had to use an power extension cord for my CPAP.

I like the location and the staff.

The room only had two electrical outlets and neither outlet was near the bed. The breakfast was quite expensive at 17 Euros. There is no refrigerator or hot pot to make coffee in the room.

staff at the reception was kind and helpful; breakfast was alright, although a little youth hostel-like but a friendly environment. Position is very convenient if you come by train.

the hotel needs a urgent refresh: Tapestry is very old, rooms are very small and a little depressing, looking on the railway with annexed noise; my room had a window not closing properly; in Summer I would not care, I would not want to discover this in winter; definitely the right rate could be around 100 per night but to charge 180 for one night looks definitely disproportionate

Steps to the hotel from the Hbf. If you are early, visit the adjacent zoo!

This is not a regular Ibis. A much older hotel building has been spruced up with the Ibis decorative standard, so you get the best of both worlds - bigger rooms with the usual Ibis modular shower/toilet added in.

Evening food options within the hotel are limited, but that's OK: plenty of bars and imbiss places inside the nearby hauptbahnhof

Break fast was good. lot off variety.

Room were too congested. No jar for water heating. No drinking water in room. No refrigerator, AC was not working properly.

The Ibis hotel is conveniently located next to the train station. Buses and trams stop directly in front of the hotel and are a cheap way of getting around the city.

There were no negatives.
