ibis budget Verdun

Location, the breakfast was OK. Friendly and helpful stuff.

Creaky doors, poor soundproofing between rooms, the bathroom sink in the bedroom. Non ventilated toilet. Really low budget and I was the most happy person on checkout.

A typical, well managed Ibis budget hotel in an industrial area near Verdun.

Some of the food at the breakfast buffet was running-out 30 min ahead of the time (no ham, no toast).

The hotel wasnt near any main roads so was really quiet enabling us to have a restful nights sleep. Perfect for our stopover whilst driving to Austria

I had booked for 2 adults & 1 child and was disappointed to find that I had to make up my child’s bed at 00.30hrs when all we all wanted to do was sleep!

The booking information should also be in English. No soap. Sheets were clean but yellow with age.

Cheap, clean stop over on route to Calais. Can be accessed late. Hot shower, comfy beds, towels provided.

Disappointing

A gang of people were loitering on the corridor smoking and drinking alcohol, very intimidating. There were clothes drying on the radiators outside the rooms , like some doss house .I would never go back.

The staff were all friendly & helpful. Hotel was quiet & the rooms were clean. Breakfast was just right.

Some shower gel & shampoo in dispensers would make the stay ideal.

Room was very unclean ,dead flies in room ceiling had been leaking, stains on wall.

Hotel well positioned close to restaurants shops etc. Clean and practical accommodation at a reasonable price.

We stopped for the night on the way to Italy, very quiet and not far from A4. Dinner places and bakery in walkable distance.

Asked for non smoking room. Got a smoking room that smelled like an ashtray. Door lock was semifunctional, had to input code multiple times. Breakfast was way below the normal standard. I think I may got a buzz off the fruit salad...it was that old!
