Hotel Bar Restaurant Saint Paul

All was great - nice and polite staff, clean comfortable room, breakfast.

Only one - need bit more sockets in room.

The location of the hotel is great for seeing Verdun and the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

The shower door fell off the first time I used it and the toilet would not flush properly. There was no tea or coffee in the room, no air conditioning and it was very warm at night. I had to sleep with the windows open and my room was directly above the bar which was quite noisy into the early hours on the last night. Dark corridors led to the rooms, there are lights on a timer but if your hands are full you struggle to press them. There is no left so if you have heavy cases or a number of them then it would be a struggle up and down the stairs. The breakfast is continental type one but if you want a croissant you best set your alarm or you could miss out and be left with some baguette, cold meat and cheese.

Great location very near the town centre and offstreet parking for motorcycles. Really good value for money and all Verdun's WW1 history a short ride away. Staff very helpful, we arrived late and they arranged food for us.

Rooms are very tired and in need of decorating.

Fairly basic amenities but everything you need honestly. Staff was really nice. If you want to see war sites you can do 4 hour walk to them and back pretty easily.

Room could do with a kettle and the lack of lift might annoy some people.

Room was very basic and our room was at the top of 3 flights of steep stairs we booked this hotel because we thought it had a restaurant but it didn’t although it did have a bar the breakfast was not included and a bit overpriced for what was on offer

Great value hotel, right at the top of the main road through the city. 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants and historical sites. Really friendly and helpful staff. Comfy room with great shower.

A good value hotel in the centre of Verdun. It's an older style hotel but everything is clean. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was good and plenty to eat. Location is a few minutes from the river and bars etc. I would stay again.

Nothing but the bar is closed for renovation but that was not a problem.

We stayed here on our way from Germany to Calais as it was about halfway to the Eurotunnel. Having free parking (at the weekend!) nearby was really convenient. The hotel is really close to the town centre the river as well as nice restaurants and bars. Many historic sites also very nearby...

Room was basic but clean and functional. Perfectly located in the centre of the city in walking distance to the bars and restaurants.Reception staff very helpful and informative and spoke excellent English.

We had very noisy neighbours who kept us up most of the night!

Perfect location, charming and efficient staff. Recommend room on second floor if you don't mind the stairs.

10 minute walk to train station or downtown area. New owners sre trying hard but needs more work. Nice breakfast

Work in progress, we had plumbing issues.Rooms toward front have some street noise plus transmitted noise from hall and other rooms.Spotty internet

The best thing about the hotel was its location. We wanted to do the Verdun walking tour, and it was very close to the starting point.

I would have liked an elevator. My suitcase was large and heavy.
