Great breakfast in the morning. Close to beaches. Friendly helpful staff. Overall a wonderful experience. Beautiful property.

The staff was friendly. The overall grounds were nice .

The air quality in the room was poor. It smelled musty all the time despite turning on AC. Opening the window was a welcomed relief. In addition the room charge was done upon check in which was unusual.

Really nice hotel. Well located, good facilities (inccl. clean swimming pool and there is even a sauna) . Room is spacious and clean. The common areas are well decorated. . The breakfast is diversified and tasty. There are even some monkeys coming to the patio. Good price quality ratio.

Location was amazing

The stuffs were not friendly and helpful Everything we asked they don’t have And also hotel look like 3stars and need proper renovationsThe restaurant allocated in downside of lobby the lunch were terrible All the foods were not fresh and expensive and super terrible test

Only the location is good

The hotel is old and the rooms are not well equipped. The location is ok but the other facilities including elevators etc were not up to the standards of a 5 star property. Breakfast doesn’t had much options especially for the people who have restrictions

Little dated inside and outside

The hotel was extremely clean, but this is normal for nice hotels in Brazil. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was amazing! The rooms are a little bit dated, but the location is great if you’re interested in going to the historic center in Salvador. We were a family with two little kids and it worked out perfect for us to stay in a junior suite. We really enjoyed our time there.

Phenomenal historical homage to Bahia and the art in the hotel is well preserved. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is ideal to get to most locations in the city and you can easily walk anywhere during day light hours.

The property is clearly deferring a lot of necessary repairs and maintenance. The room was dirty and the housekeepers are doing a really nice job with what little they have to work with. It’s simple, the property is older and has so much potential for the future but in its current state and the price, it’s terrible. The room is and bed are filthy. Everything needs care.

The hotel was built in 1950, very high style , the best of mid century design . Many original furnishings Very clean property and generally well maintained . Excellent staff . Lovely generous buffet breakfast . Attractive pool area , when in use . Location mid way between Barra and the old town . Convenient by taxi in Uber . Spacious room , comfortable bed . Great AC . Black out curtains . Open view ( 10 th floor )

Upon arrival , I was notified the pool was being repaired ( emptied of water for several days ) my in roof safe did not work . Had to have repair twice within first 12 hours . Closet doors kept sliding open on their own . Also repaired twice within first twelve hours . Still did not get fixed . House keeping signal light did not work .

I like this hotel very much. The swimming pool, the gym, the restaurants, the service, everything.

I just noticed the façade, facing Campo Grande square, needs a good painting job.

Room was spacious and clean! Bed linen and change of towels daily. Fantastic breakfast with great choice of fresh fruit, juices and pastries!We haven’t used the pool but the area looks very nice and clean.

On our second day, elevator was broken in the morning at a peak hours. Many people were going for breakfast or check out! Waiting time was 10-15 min with no guarantee to get to it. There are 12 floors and worker said that stairs are bad to take so we had to wait long. From staff talking we understood it is common situation and the 3rd elevator is actually not working for long time.

It’s location, breakfast spread, staff, and carnival activities (dj’s, live music, food)

Convenience to central Salvador

Poor lighting in room, poor temperature control (was too cold) thermostat doesn’t function. Call to front desk not answered or ringing excessively until response. Room service food extremely slow. Poorly managed hotel
