- I’ve asked for an orange juice at the pool. It was spoiled, so I asked to change and the waitress said it was all the same. So I asked for a coconut water, but it they didn’t have it anymore.

Beautiful location, staff and food.
Needs maintenance in rooms - I have been here for 3 times during the last year and management must inspect rooms and bathrooms.
Location, view and staff
Needs maintenance - sink clogged, beds need to be replaced.
Views of the ocean. Pool overlooking sea. Location in barra.
A bit old. Food regular. Pool has shadow most part of the day.
Perfect! Here’s a warm, friendly version withMy stay at Villa Galle Salvador was truly amazing! ?✨The location is perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing. The pool is beautiful, ideal for unwinding after exploring Salvador. But the highlight for me was the breakfast: the delicious tapioca freshly prepared by the talented chef @devaniltonf ? — such a special touch that made me feel at home. The hospitality, the details, and the atmosphere all made my experience unforgettable.
Always come here and live the services, the beach the location. Feel at home, no worries, fantastic sea view.
Breakfast
Room was old, dirty ceiling and noise cause by cleaning people late at night
Great breakfast buffet. The majority of staff was super helpful and nice, specially the pool bar staff and the tapioca chef at breakfast. Food in pool bar was average. The bedroom is great, super clean and very comfortable. The view is amazing, probably the best in town.
The bedroom could use some love. It's very old and it lacks some maintenance. They were missing fresh coconut water for 2 days, which was a bit disappointing.
Very near Camarote Salvador, which was a point of interest during the carnival season. However, still secluded from the craziness of the carnival circuit.
The bathrooms in the common area could be cleaner. The women’s bathroom smelled kind of bad.
the view was amazing. the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
I order room service. Asked someone to get the dirty dishes but no staff came.
Great location with views on the ocean from the room window.Very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is a little dated. Yet clean and comfortable. Overall I enjoyed staying very much
Big, comfortable rooms, excellent food, the pool by the ocean was exceptional . The staff are willing and helpful, but almost nobody speaks any language but Portuguese
The hotel is in a fine neighborhood but no shops or restaurants are near. The popular neighbourhood of Barra is about half an hour's walk away, so I guess it's not a problem.!
Breakfast is ok, staff work extremely hard
A very dated hotel with rude staff
The view is aboslutely stunning! The hotel is 2 min (walking distance) away from a little beach not too crowded. The rooms are spacious and bright, the breakfast is good, with several fresh fruits, local dishes and even homemade tapioca.
The staff seems a bit disorganized. The first day they didn’t clean my bathroom. The other day they didn’t fill in the mini fridge with water… on the positive side, once you ask they’ll immediately correct it. The cocktails at the swimming pool bar are not great (but on the other hand, the price is excellent).
The location and the view
The lobby was extremely hot and they keep the light off and the lobby is dark also the bathrooms is kind old
Wonderful location and view, comfy.
Some maintenance issues and needs improvement due to age and use.
We enjoyed the variety at breakfast and the dinner buffet, the pool service and the location. The gym is well-furnished.
The room missed any kind of chair/sunbeds/table to enjoy the balcony, thus making it useless, and the floor was dirty on arrival. Booking massages was difficult (the SPA was open only in the afternoon and not on Sundays) and it was almost always fully booked or impossible to reach.
I’ll never stay here again and will also go out of my way to not recommend it
No AC in the most expensive suiteNo AC in breakfast areaEmergency signs falling from the ceilingPool with broken filterStaff incredibly rudeRoom cleanliness is poor
