    • The room was spacious, the food was very good and service (Yanni, Manolis for breakfast)and (Niko from the Taverna) are excellent.
    • Location and view was excellent.

    Cons -

    • The SPA prices are ridiculous, and I would expect them to be a bit more reasonable. The food - sometimes the food from the hotplates isn’t hot enough and just not cold.Breakfast is great but where are the salads? This is Greece! I would expect many salads in the breakfast and tziziky as well.
    • All was great. The room was very nice, clean service and food delicious.
    • Service was terrible. Even though we had wellness 2 bedroom villa, the treadmill was not functional, out of two phones provided only one worked. Concierge service was unreliable , our family ended up losing breakfast all three days.

Location is gorgeous, food was very good, beach access is very easy.

Most of the support staff was unhelpful and curt, we had to call multiple times for simple requests (getting pillows, cleaning the room, ice) all which after an hour we would call again and still would take 30 min to 2 hours additional time for them to arrive, if it did at all. Also a hotel that tiers guest experiences (dining areas, pool lounge usage) based on room type, is not actually a luxury hotel. No one seemed happy to be working there and no one was helping doing items that are part of their responsibility (getting water at meals, getting towels at the pool).

    The location. Design. Facilities

The staff are most polite but partly overwhelmed partly not properly trained to look after a huge property with so many customers with their needs. It’s a five star establishment so needs details to be looked into

The hotel was exceptional from the very friendly, courtesy, caring and thoughtful staff to the breathtaking views, beautiful spacious and glorious room (mine had an infinity pool on the balcony). Breakfast buffet and a la carte restaurants were fantastic too! They went to the extra lengths to make my birthday really special. I'll be back!

Only that there are no USB port in the bedroom.

The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful cove and very pretty location. The gym and wellness centre was fantastic, especially the outdoor gym - really well fitted out. The breakfast buffet was really good, lots of options and fresh food. The infinity pool is really beautiful and lots of waiters around to bring drinks and food.

The location means that you're quite limited to staying at the resort, which ties you in to eating and drinking there. The prices felt really high, and after a few days you feel a bit squeezed dry. The restaurant options were all unnecessarily fancy/complicated - there should be at least one place just serving more simple (and cheaper) options. We ate one night at the smartest restaurant option, "Ocean", and were really upset by quite how small the portions were - a starter of king shrimp consisted of one shrimp! It felt unnecessarily mean. The food was mostly tasty, it's just that there needs to be some cheaper/simpler alternative options. The other issue with the resort is that the infrastructure just isn't quite big enough to support the number of rooms. There are two funiculars to transport people around the steep-sided resort and these are very slow. It can take a long time for them to arrive and then deliver you to your destination. There are golf carts as an alternative and these worked most of the time, but we had to wait over 20 minutes on an occasion when we'd booked a taxi, so were 15-minutes late for the taxi. There are not enough sun beds so guests go out and claim them early in the morning. On our first day we didn't realise this and ended up spending the day perched on the end of a sofa at the bar, sharing with someone else. When we arrived we were told to book our dinner reservations in the restaurants as soon as possible - when we did this later that day, we struggled to make any reservations before 8.30 or 9.00, which is no good if you've got small children.

High standard overall, great location, nice and clean area including villas, intimate atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff in the entire property & restaurants/ bars, overall good food experience (broad variety for breakfast, many options for lunch) but really worth exploring restaurants in Elunda, stunning views from sea view villas, very well equipped gym & heavenly spa area. Some wather sports options available at the beach. Definitely a place to come back :)

The only point: tight space at the beach, sun beds very close so in high season can be difficult to find a free spot if you don’t come in the morning. Similar with pool area.

Wonderful stay at Daios Cove. Beautiful resort, excellent staff in all facilities, and the food and restaurant quality was a real highlight for us. We are already looking at booking again, can't wait to go back!

    10JessicaPosted on: 10-8-2024

Beautiful location, great staff, delicious food, private beach, very quiet room. The spa services were fabulous and yoga class overlooking the sea was incredible.

Water never got warm or hot in shower. Just be aware it is a lot of children

    8KennethPosted on: 10-3-2024

The property is modern and all the facilities worked well. Our room was very comfortable. In Pangea Restaurant the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The fresh food there was generally very good but some of the hot buffet meals were overcooked and meats dried and toughened. However it was usually possible to find something reasonable to eat. We generally took lunch at Ocean and had great service and enjoyable meals.

The site is a little isolated and might suit those who have hired cars best. There is limited space around the Pool and on the Beach so one ends up sunbathing in very close proximity with others and it was not always possible to find a lounger in the sun.

    Bad

Was in your hotelI will not write a general review I will write to you I will not talk about the impressions of the old plumbing and the condition of the rooms of the initial categoryThis is not 5 stars!!!!by no meansBut the food at the hotel, breakfast and dinner, is simply terrible Arriving at the buffet dinner at 9:30 p.m., the administrator ran after us and shouted - where are you going! we are closed! this is the end!we say - well, we can take something from the buffet to which she dissatisfiedly says - if you have time !!!I remind you of 5 starsbeing in a hotel on the roof of another Guests came for another 30 minutes and calmly enjoyed dinner!!!and of course after such a relationship We decided to use the paid seats for dinner the next eveningeverything was reserved for the chefs' dinner eventthat's why we chose Ocean restaurant The place is old and uncomfortable Didn't like the food the barley dish was taken from the bill because we didn't even eat it but the most interesting began the next dayPoisoning at night!nausea and diarrhea!!!and there is a long way home ahead!!!and it continued for three days after arrival it's just horror!!!!!I have no wordsIt’s a 5 stars ?! Nooo

Luxurious, beautifully designed resort in a wonderful natural settingLarge, comfortable high-spec rooms/suites (many with individual pools) Residents’ Club all-inclusive program is top-notch (with high quality food and drinks all included in the price) Excellent pool, beach and spa facilities

Getting around the property (i.e. to and from your room to the restaurants/beach/pool/spa) is not very efficient and requires either a buggy (which needs to be ordered in advance) or 1 or 2 slow funicular rides. There should be more buggies made available on very short notice, especially during busy periods.

Everything ! The location, structure , super friendly stuff, super thanks to Experience Manager Giorgi. The food is delicious , so far best spot in Greece I have been To !

    Amazing resort

Room cleaning and not enough seating at pool and beach.

    10MilosPosted on: 8-16-2024

Great hotel, beach with crystal clear water.

Bit overpriced, plus guests are asked for tips every-time you order something (this should be all priced in your booking as you are on holiday).

    5AdamPosted on: 8-15-2024

The views are pretty awesome, the beach is nice (not sandy though, small rocks) and the pools are great too!The room we’ve been to was quite spacious and the pool in the room was nice - salt water, but nice!

Unfortunately - there were some issues..1. While some of the staff was nice, we felt other staff members were very condescending2. Food in restaurants & alcohol are extremely(!!!) expensive - and for no good reason (it was no different than any local restaurant)3. To move around - you need a golf cart - that’s frustrating sometimes, especially with a baby where you need to carry around the stroller up the stairsGenerally speaking - the place is not suitable for families with babies

Everything was great about Daios Cove! Its nature &rooms& foods, sea all was great. And the service of the staff was excellent! Especially the ones in the restaurant( we had breakfast & dinner as halfboard) was super friendly, nice, and keep you feel like you’re a guest in their home. Thanks!

    8RachelPosted on: 8-4-2024

Enjoyable, relaxing but spoilt by disappointing food.

Drinks and food extremely expensive for the quality. Wine and cocktails were mediocre but very expensive. Food was average and again expensive.

    8MordechaiPosted on: 8-2-2024

The place is very clean and well-maintained

The food has a huge variety, but at a medium level. Vegetarians don't have a great variety of options. The prices of each supplement are very! high.
