    Pros +

    • Rooms were extremely comfortable and well equipped and had everything. Great views from balcony. Resort had great facilities pools, beach, kayaks, golf, pickleball. We had a great time.
    • The hotel room was clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pools are great, my kids loved the heated pool! The service by the pool was convenient and the food was good.
    • Everything was perfect, did not have any problem with our stay. Very clean hotel overall. I think they have a good system with the staff, shifts and service. Especially sea side was really good.

    Cons -

    • The restaurants in the hotel are very expansive (low value for money). Otherwise the place is perfect!
    • We got the room in the old building, it looks they have renovated rooms as well. The old room looks really old.
    • The food in the main dining room Nafsika need to be upgraded, more diversity...not meet the expectations of a 5 stars resort ..Evening after dinner: missing some entertainment for the family in vacation ..

Excellent location, with a private beach 3 minutes downhill walk from the room. Not crowded, quiet. For those who seek a shadow it might be rather hot. A very large room, perfectly air conditioned ( quiet!), very large bathroom and shower/tub. The bed was very big and comfortable. Sea view. The food was tasty, and kudos for the pastries chef- fantastic deserts!! Fresh vegetables, and freshly squeezed juice. Champagne for those who are interested:-) very friendly staff! The room is super clean and checked twice a day. Parking space aplenty-right on front of the entrance ( and we drive every day, and in top season).

Didn’t like to be charged for water when dining ( you can ask for tap water and ice if you find it bothersome). High prices for the spa. Also, with all the justified compliments above, still too expensive, though we booked at the last minute.

Loved the beach.Loved the shops.Loved the golf cart ride to the beach.Rooms are big, great view. Everything was very clean. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Wifi was not good. Breakfast was average for a 4.5 star hotel.

Breakfast service was exceptional, pool is beautiful, use of all the properties. Semi- private pool (thought it was private)(too cold too use)

Limited dinner options, wifi did not allow us to work from our room. TVs need an upgrade (smart tvs) Limited English

The view and the cleanliness.Amazing breakfast!

From the 1st evening we arrived and saw the view from our room, we were excited for our stay. We woke early the next morning and watched the sunrise from our bed. Breakfast was so good, catering for every option and it never got boring during our 10 stay. Staff here, at reception, the spa, and at the beach were fantastic and added to our whole experience. We visited the spa on the one day it rained, and i had the best massage I've ever had. Staff at the Spa were wonderful. We booked at Elias on Opa night and had such a fun night with the traditional greek music and dancing and delicious buffet. We were thankful every day, sitting by the beach and the tranquillity of the exclusive beach and surrounding areas. Our trip exceeded our expectations, and we have had so much interest from family and friends who have seen our photos. We will definitely be back.

If we had to be picky, then the shower in our Porto Sea view room was not 5 star quality. We were surprised given everything met 5 star expectations. It was small and not a power shower. Not a negative, but there were two routes to walk down to the beach, along with the caddy lift. But we only found the quicker and more scenic walk by accident. A map highlighting this at the start of our stay would have been useful. Neither of the above would deter us from reccomending or booking again.

Everything really!! Great location, lovely beaches and location for getting to different areas especially Elounda town!!

Some maintenace areas in our room needed improving for such a high profile hotel it was very poor, better black out curtains needed!!

    Good breakfast

Alcohol, even local wines, is severely overpriced

    9LUCIANPosted on: 9-24-2024

The resort was very clean. It had a nice beach front. The staff it's superfriendly. Every morning you can see the sunrise and in the evening the moonrise. The view from the rooms is amazing! I recommend the italian restaurant "Il Borro" - don't forget that you need to make an reservation (only for dinner).

Almost half of the rooms are renovated, and half not. You should know this before booking. I don't recommend the rooms with swimming pools. The pool is not that private, nor clean (we were staying in the "old" building). With the extra money You could get an extra treatment at the Six Senses Spa. It's a little bit expensive.

The beach & pool were fabulous. The grounds were well kept.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, even with a mattress topper given after we complained they were ok but not comfortable

Beautiful setting above the sea. Very nicely landscape to compliment the environment. Great breakfast.

Long walk from hotel to beach but a very pretty one.

This is such a nice hotel. The staff are great in the hotel and the spa. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. We upgraded to a room with a pool which we used all the time. Spa treatments are excellent and the spa pool wonderful. We will return!

We liked everything except the Il Burro restaurant.,It was very expensive and the food was mediocre, especially for the price. But there are so many excellent tavernas within a short car drive that this doesn’t really matter.

Location is amazing, staff is very helpful and yoga instructor at Six Senses Spa was great. The area by the beach is very nice.

Air conditioning was old, did not work well and it made a lot of noise, therefore I did not sleep well, could not rest. Rooms are too small for what you pay and general decoration is outdated.
