Ariadne Beach - Adults Only

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable location. The beach with a lovely taverna is right at the doorsteps, great beach club is a few minutes walk, several great beaches are a short drive away.Peaceful, comfortable stay. Great privacy. Welcoming staff. Good breakfast.

I’m so impressed with the food- really yummy. Quality meats, great variety of veggies and they changed it up every night. Staff were very friendly, rooms were large. 10 minute walk into town.

You have to pay for beach chairs. Bathrooms were a bit dated.

It was close to the beach, very a very calm place with all facilities included. The view was nice.

The apartment was very up the hill. Although you could request a car to transport, it was exhausting. There was not enough sunbeds and parasol next to the pool.

Amazing hotel we thoroughly enjoyed out few days here. Really lovely hotel. Beach over the road, walk into town. Good sized pools. Nice to have the bungalow style rooms which are quite and more like a villa.. superb food and lovely waiting staff.

We paid a good price for half board. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style and the food was mostly good. There was enough parking space and you can leave your car at the hotel and reach Agios Nikolaos if you walk for 10 - 15 min. Pool areas were nice and had enough sunbeds. There is a cute small beach if you cross the road. Overall it was a pleasant stay for the price we paid.

Our room was somewhat outdated (the bathroom could use some renovation) and the balcony window/door did not lock. The mattresses were not very comfortable, neither were the pillows, but it was manageable and eventually we got used to them.

Terrible drinks, miserable pool barmen, NO Gin & Tonic on the all inclusive evening bar!!! Had to pay for water!!! The whole place was tired, room cleaning was poor, flaking paint and broken glass around the pool! Stopped from eating chips at lunchtime on my sun bed!!! REALLY!!??

The resort was nice, good position close to Agios Nikolaos center(10 min walking). Good breakfast. Clean, spacious room with nice balcony. Enough parking spaces for rented cars.

Dinner, not the best idea. It didn’t seem to be very fresh adn the noise in the eating area was too much, more like a cantine. The beach, full of stones and not included in the hotel price. Also the safety box is not included. As a 4 star hotel, you don’t receive any cosmetic creams or bathrobe. And also they don’t change your beach towel, only the other towels. The AC didn’t work properly, not making cold enough. I asked politely 3 times before our departure if I can get an extra hour after the check out hour. But they constantly refuse to help us, telling us that it s more important to receive the new tourists even earlier then the normal check-in hour. So if i want a late check out (1 hour more!!!) it s not possible, but if i arrive earlier in crete, i can get an early check in! I don’t really understand this.. keeping in mind that it is a 4star hotel. I ve been before to other hotels in crete, but it wasn’t like this one.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions

The pools and sun beds area were excellent! The location is walkable from down and many nice spots nearby. The rooms and balconies are very comfortable. Really good value for money in terms of stay. The spa was excellent as well and Sophia did an amazing job with our cretan messages.

The food, alcohol were just absolutely terrible quality in the main restaurant. We paid for half board but ended up eating out most of the time given the low quality of ingredients and tasteless dishes. It was such a pity because this was literally the only place in Crete we didn't like the food in our 10 days across west and east. Also, Even water or any non alcoholic drink wasn't included in the half board meals which was shocking! I felt bad for all inclusive guests who were stuck with watery beer, wine and the food here.

Good location, loved that it was adults only especially as went in school holidays.

As we weren’t all inclusive we couldn’t get a snack at lunch time.

Rooms aged and things were broken, man at the pool bar - omg he made our stay unpleasant. Restaurant was ok ish, but nothing special, the thing that was painful for us was that veggies didn’t taste like Greek ones, no taste, low quality.

Location is very close to beach, beach is small beach but good and clean with good restaurant. Staff specially the one dropping off by vehicle to room were very friendly and always smiling They also upgraded our room with lovely view which made our stay relaxing. Will definitely come back again. Very big hotel but really relaxing.

Breakfast was average and ok. No fresh juice no decent coffee was very disappointing, food in general did not look appealing and needs improvement ,so we skipped bfast few times. But good tavern for lunch at door step.

Absolutely loved everything. The gentleman in the dining area was so attentive and friendly (unfortunately I can't remember his name....maybe George??) Loved the beach just outside the property and the pools on the property.

The beach, the two pools and the restaurant; our room was beautiful and spacy and the view was magnificient!
