Casa Elounda - Adults only Hotel "by Checkin"

While traveling the whole island on our honeymoon, we ended up here for one night and we quickly decided to stay one more and now we can’t wait to come back!Our time here was simply amazing. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms are comfortable and warm, the building looks like it's out of a architecture magazine and the view from the property is absolutely breathtaking.But what truly made this stay special were Kostas and Elena and the whole staff. They are such kind, genuine, and welcoming people — you can feel the love they put into every detail. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, and we’re so grateful for their hospitality.This place is a gem, and so are the people who run it, so don't miss it! :)

The view is amazing!!! The best we had in any hotel in Crete!

The highlight of the room is the most amazing balcony ever!!! Really, other then that the room is very simple, the bathroom is really splashy but clean. Overall we had a good time!

The breathtaking open view of the sea. The room and bathroom are both modern and comfortable. The terrace in front of the garden (we were in the ground floor) is perfect for coffee while watching the nature. The staff was friendly, and Apostolis was very assistant during our stay. The breakfast doesn't have such variety but it's fair enough. Don't miss the wonderful SUNRISE. Definitely we shall come back again.

When we arrived we were given the most friendly greeting by Apóstoles. He made us a welcome drink which we enjoyed while taking in wonderful views of the sea. Apóstoles then showed us around the rest of the property, helped us with our luggage and brought us to our room where he explained how the power, lights, tv and safe all worked. Our clean and comfortable, newly renovated room had everything that we needed plus a patio with fabulous views of the sea, mountains and Agios Nikolaos. The breakfasts offered plenty of selections ... our favourite was the delicious fresh fruit. Every member of the staff was super friendly and very attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our stay!

View is good and front desk staff is helpful. Place is in middle of nowhere on a busy road, 15 min by car from Agio Nikolos and Elunda so if you do not have a car then it is difficult to move around.

One day they ran out of break fast, we went at 9:45 almost everything was finished and there were 3 couple after us and there was no food, barely some bread left. Room is very basic, they do not have any toiletry only shower gel so ladies carry your own conditioner. Rooms needs renovation, our rooms main light left going on/off and since there is no telephone in hotel one could not even call them at night to check. Pool is very close to main busy road, so there is no peaceful time near pool. Breakfast was very poor for Greek standard. Overpriced for what it is, I will not book it just for view as there are plenty nice places with view around in the area. You cannot keep balcony doors open as there is continuous loud noise AC coming from all other room, so there is no tranquility even with lovely view.

The whole staff and especially Apostolis and Teri were incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful.

The breakfast, especially the coffee machine could be improved.

The location, the view from the room and from the hotel and also the breakfast.

The price, it’s not really worth it, we’ve been in better accommodation with lowest prices in crete.

The view was amazing. The rooms was recently renovated. The staff was friendly and professional.

The rest of the hotel needs a renovation. Breakfast was with just the basics. Nothing special. The parking space was not enough for all the cars. The pool seems to need a bit more work to keep it in good condition. The pillows needs to be changed very uncomfortable.

The manager of the hotel is great and very welcoming, as well as the staff. He gave us really nice places to visit.They have unbrella for the beach to borrow for the day.The room was really nice , clean and came with an amazing view. The breakfast was correct.I would recommend you to go there 100% if you have a car!

The hotel is build on the hill overseeing Agios Nikolaos that gives the rooms and pool area a breathtaking view. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us very good recommendations of things to do around the area

Great room with very comfortable big bed. Big balcony with enchanting view of the bay. Full, delicious buffet breakfast, offered on a terrace with the same amazing view. Attentive staff made us feel pampered. Apostolis even made us sandwiches and gave us fruit as we had to leave early to catch our flight! Will go back!

The swimming pool was amazing but could use some more regular cleaning. An additional nice touch would have been towels at the pool area. The coffee machine made coffee that wasn’t to our taste. All these notes do not detract from a great experience.

Location/view is breath-taking and quiet. Beautiful palm trees. Perfect breakfast with fresh fruits and all you can desire. Close by car to beautiful places, Agios and Elounda, and restaurants. Easy to find from the road with the yellow Sunlight sign.

Everything, the location was very good looking with a View on the sea and the gulf. But most important the staff has been really excellent and kind…during the stay we had an important medical problem and they helped us at all. Thanks again for all the availability and humanity.
