El Greco Hotel

Stunning location near good restaurants and a small beach.

Clean, good location

The hotel has a strange flaw, once housekeeping goes home, the front desk has no access to sheets, pillows, blankets, toilet paper, etc., so if you need any of these things after about 3pm, you are out of luck until the next day.

Amazing location, friendly staff. Highly recommend. The seaview room is worth it.

The location and the view were amazing, we had a balcony right in front of the sea. The room was fine and the stuff was very friendly. The breakfast had many options but only open until 9h30.

The AC in the room was not working properly, the shower had no door - so the water was getting everywhere in the bathroom - and there was a bit of mold in the bathroom ceiling.

Perfectly situated to enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains and just minutes from the beach. Great value for the price.

The shower was small and hard to maneuver and the coffee at breakfast was awful - challenging for someone dependent on that morning shot of caffeine.

The location is great, walking to everything. Parking is on the street so getting a spot can be a bit of a challenge but there’s a lot close by. We had an ocean front view, it was lovely. The room was serviced every day and nicely!

The shower door was broken so it was hard to keep the water inside and we had no hot water on our last day. Not a deal breaker though!

Location was great and the room views were nice if you were at seaside.

We got a room upgrade to the seaside and there the bed was very bad so we were lucky not to stay more nights. The room also smelled a little. In the first room the bathtub didn’t have a plug and neither the whole hotel did have any plugs even in other rooms.

Very close to everywhere, the staff is very polite and helpful, breakfast is satisfactory.

Loved the location. The room was a garden view, but we also had a side view of the sea. The breakfast which was included was very good.

There's nothing we didn't like

1. Very friendly personnel, who agreed to leave our luggage in deposit before and after our stay2. View from the balcony is worth additional pay, wake up early to enjoy sunrise

The location and view were superb. Very close to restaurants and shops. Street parking right in front of hotel. Terrific WiFi.

Leaving

The staff was super nice and friendly. Beautiful view from the balcony. Very good breakfast.

The rooms require a bit construction/painting/decoration.

The location is phantastic and the views from the balcony are stunning! A short walk to the port, the beach, the city center. Parking was very easy as well. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming.

The facilities were not well maintained, there was no hot water. Breakfast staff was friendly but breakfast quality was below average.

We enjoyed our stay at El Greco Hotel. The room was good and clean. Even though it is a bit outdated (some things are broken), it is good for a short stay. The receptionists are very kind and welcoming, and are there to answer all of your questions. Free Parking can be found on the street in front of the door.

As many other reviews stated that there is a lot of noise coming from the hall and street. We can confirm that there is much noise coming for the rooms next door and the reception.

The location

The fact that there was no shutter to cover the main balcony door from the sun.The shower was missing a base to hold it during shower.The a/c was facing the head of the bed and therefore our heads was very cold and unpleasant.
